Ok there wasn't a whole lot of instructions on how to use it. So i all most killed a bottle of Black Saddle testing. First i did not like the cherry, it was extremely bitter but it could have been a personal preference. It could have been the bourbon but doubtful. So i recommend 2 small pinches and do not reburn. Wash glass and fresh ice. Even my wife liked the taste and she doesn't drink it straight over ice. Besides the cherry chips i can recommend this product, it worked and is extremely nice. 5 stars !!!!@ Its makes a great man gift for sure..so buy undied, socks and this. As a person who likes to grill and and enjoy a nice glass of Whiskey on ice along with a Cigar while cooking, I got the idea of smoking my drink. I quickly jumped on my computer to look at my number one go too, Amazon. I found this nice smoker kit and settled on it. I liked the presentation and of course the reviews helped with the sell. When I received it I was blown away. Very elegantly boxed with each piece having its own place. The lighter and ambience of the colors made me feel real good about this purchase. Keep in mind there are others on Amazon cheaper, however, you don't get the full set like this kit, plus this kit just stands out and demands attention when you set it out. Anyways, it was really easy to use in which I figured that out without having to read the instructions. I am enjoying the different flavored woods to smoke with in finding those perfect notes to match my drink. Overall the experience has been great and I am really enjoying this set. The lighter is very slick and smooth to operate. If you come across this kit don't hesitate, just buy it! I promise you wont be disappointed.

I got this for my dad who loves whiskey and has lots of it as well. I love that the kit comes with a very nice torch and I love that it seems like it would be an easy process to add the aromas / flavors to a drink. My dad was very excited to receive this gift and said he has been wanting one. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a whiskey or bourbon connoisseur.

Comes with all of the basics you need for starting out. Wanted to get into making old fashioneds and some other drinks instead of just cracking open a beer. Quality seems pretty good and it’s also fun to use. The chips definitely make a difference in the taste.
