I have a few scissor action wire cutters before, and frequently managed to cut the wire instead of strip them.Went ahead and bought these on a whim to try them out on a new project where flush cutting was important. These performed well on 20 guage copper wire and around 14 guage plastic.They're handy, small and light enough to fit into a small bagnof tools.

These are pretty darn good wire strippers. I have a few pairs of these but like these in terms of size. The snipper is most impressive because it is on the business end and cuts like butter.
