With only one application layer when used with the base and top coat, it goes on smooth and dries within 15 minutes. The colour is well pigmented, long lasting for 2 weeks (in my case anyway) and it doesn't annihilate your nails unlike with some other cheaper brands iykyk. OPI is a bit pricier than other brands but you get what you pay for and all I can say is that it is well worth it. Review: Lovely red - Bought this to replace a very old OPI nail varnish that had run out. The name of the old colour was something to do with Rudolph and was part of a Christmas collection of varnishes probably 15 years ago! I have been searching for a long time to find a replacement red that was not too sparkly (just a slight shimmer) and not too orange nor too dark as those colours can make pale skin look washed out, but I also didnt want too pinky red either. Whilst I unfortunately dont have any of the old colour to compare directly, this colour looks really nice on and is what I had been hoping to find. Really glad it was another OPI as their polishes seem to last much longer without chipping than most cheaper brands. Thank you** A: I would say its a bright red, with a hint of orange. Burnt orange to me is a deep dusky orange. I think Cajun Shrimp is quite bright. I do love it. Hope that helps! **Q: bottle size?** A: Without sounding silly it's the same size as all the rest of my varnishes; regular size I guess.
