Why did this arrive in a glass pot, not original plastic one

I bought one from boots and it also came in a glass pot. I think some are plastic but not all.

I bought this but I’m concerned this isn’t a genuine product as it’s not in original packaging and not what is shown above. Can you confirm it is?

I can’t speak for the one you have but mine seems genuine. It arrived looking as if I had bought it from Boots and the texture etc seems the same. I have had no issues with it at all.
