Good first high end motherboard. Paired with a I7 -13700 13th gen and a rtx 4070 and it runs smooth. Bios is a little tricky and doesnt like raid setups or that might just be me. I did my research and this is a good bang for your buck motherboard for my first ever build Lowest CPU Temp 30C lowest GPU Temp 27 C

I bought this motherboard for my daughters Gaming rig. I run an i7 with integrated graphics and 16 gigs of ram. It plays minecraft and roblox great. Larger titles run well with graphics set to high or medium. You can throw a graphics card in this bad boy and it will take off, but she doesnt need all that... Yet. Thanks!

The motherboard functions as expected. The I O shield was missing from the package, which I anticipated as a possibility given that the board was used. However, the product images showed the I/O shield as included. The shipping and packaging are what bring the rating down. The motherboard and its box were shipped inside a USPS box with no padding at all. During transit, the motherboard was able to move freely, and the antistatic bag was cut, torn, and scratched open from bouncing inside the box. This did not inspire confidence in the handling or protection of the product. Fortunately, the board appears to have arrived undamaged and is working properly, but the shipping and handling process was inadequate and risky.

What I found out that may be helpful is if you use XMP function in the bios you can only use 2 dimm slots and with this ddr4 version of mobo you are maxed at ddr4 3200. It won't boot with xmp on and 4 dimm slots in use. I had 4 ddr4 3200 ram and they were running at 2100 when i looked in bios and everything booted and worked great. Well I went to turn xmp on to achieve the 3200 speed they were rated at and the mobo was rated for and the computer wouldn't post. After research I found you can only use 2 of the dimm slots if you are using xmp. After going to 2 dimm and xmp on everything was great again. My previous asus mobo (older 2017 chipset) I took these ram from did great with these 4 dimms and xmp on so it's a quirk of this mobo. It still is a great value and you can easily just put 2 32gig ddr4 3200 and be fine. I was trying to reuse old ram so I bought this ddr4 version and I may have just upgraded to the ddr5 mobo instead if I knew my ram wouldn't work as i had intended. I'll never use that much ram anyways so it worked out luckily for me otherwise I'd be upset if id bought 4 dimms for this board and couldn't use xmp. Hopefully this saves some poor soul time and money.

First motherboard was DOA turned on no post with my new I9-14900k CPU return on the way back. Ordered second one hopefully it will be all good? Will be returning to give update on my rating. Was kinda worried about the box packaging brown box no identification on it... Will change my rating upon the second motherboard arrives alive??
