.. I am a great fan of Batiste and have been using it for nearly four decades (when there was a ‘choice’ of just one!). I have always gone to the hairdresser twice weekly but as I have naturally blonde greasy hair being able to use this product as a boost after a couple of days has been great. I ordered this particular aerosol October but have just used it today for the first time. It has been kept in a dry cabinet in a warm/cool bathroom. I’m worried. The spray works fine but it is obvious that the aerosol top is leaking as my hand gets really wet (NO white residue, just clear). There is no longer a link on my order to query this problem. Is the aerosol safe? Could it explode? I think I’m just going to throw it, but I’d like some answers especially as the spray itself works fine. Amazon - if you’re reading this then please contact me. You have all my contact details. (P.S. And what a shame it still is, that other customers cannot comment under, and in response, to reviews. I have previously learnt so much about a product by such comments and advice, many of which were answered by the seller of manufacturer of the item. Asking a question in the relevant slot, just isn’t the same - or as often was the case, as entertaining!!!) UPDATE 24/03/24 I had bought two of these and the second one also leaked and I ended up with a wet hand. I now realise that I bought these from the Baptiste store so presume they must be genuine. I’m rather disappointed and alarmed that no-one has contacted me. I won’t buy this version again as there is obviously a problem with the manufacturer they use for it. And anyway it isn’t any better than the ‘Original’. .. .

Not only does this product 'freshen' the feel of my hair when I don't have time for my usual daily washing, but it creates additional 'body' (my hair just goes flat after one day). It also slightly disguises any root growth. Whilst It does not replace the feel and gloss of freshly washed hair, it doesn't dull the hair either, and there is no 'powdery' feel. I find if I brush my shortish bob forward, spray just three or four short bursts, massage it in, and continuing to brush forward for thirty seconds or so, before throwing my head back, I can then comb, brush or blow style my hair into some semblance of order. So I find it a useful emergency fix to have on hand. Don't use too much, you don't need it and it will probably take much longer to brush away. It should last quite a long time because a little does the job.

Love this. I have 3-4 inches of dark roots as been growing my blonde our over lockdown. Used this as I was going to a funeral and wanted my hair to look a bit less scruffy. It’s only very subtle but just enough to make you feel like your roots aren’t so harsh to the rest of your hair. It’s expensive, as with all batiste sprays you tend to only get half a bottle - even thought it feels like it’s still half full no white stuff comes out anymore but I find this is true of all batiste sprays so not this sellers fault. Too expensive for me to use every day but for special occasions it’s perfect

Not bright, have bleached blonde hair? And to leave a yellow residue. . Won’t be using again.

Good product. I use all the time if my hair is a little greasy and I want it to last another day. However it is pricy to buy here. Boots is usually cheaper

I’ve tried several products to cover mid brown regrowth and this is the most effective, subtle, fast and economic option. My coloured hair is ash blonde and the coverage the spray gives is subtle. It also doesn’t leave that “powdered wig” look as the product seems to have some light reflective properties to it.

There are not enough awesome things to say about this product. As someone with highlighted blonde hair, this is perfect for in between hair appointments. During the winter months, my roots come in dark as can be, and this covers them right up. It smells nice (not like baby powder) and drys quickly. Other dry shampoos with color I have tried left residue on my hands when I would touch my scalp hours later. This product definitely does not. However, it is important to mention that you shouldn't do this super close to your head, it ends up a little spotty. I have found that when I make that mistake, I am easily able to massage the color into my hair and it fixes it very quickly. It is easy to remove from clothes (accidentally used while wearing a black blazer) and will keep your hair looking awesome all day. It doesn't run when it gets rained on but washes out easily. It is a very blonde color, so I wouldn't recommend this product for someone with dirty blonde hair. The best part? Not tested on animals and is free from all of those yucky harmful ingredients. Probably because it is a European product. I've used it about 10 times and my bottle still feels mostly full. Absolutely love!
