Gordon Ramsay Maze White Set of 12

Nice to see that the availability of this Royal Doulton crockery continues. We bought 8 settings 3 years ago. After a few breakages (you really need to try hard, it's pretty sturdy) we were going to buy a couple of replacement plates. Rather than that, we decided on another set, bringing most bowls and plates up to 12 settings. 3 years in the quality of the crockery is evident. The new set just purchased is indistinguishable from the 3 year old set. That's had a family of four using it every day with daily dishwashing. I'm very impressed. The design continues to be impressive, simple but attractive, and frames your plate of food very nicely. I really like the higher lip on the plates as it "contains" your food in a more secure manner and keeps that gravy and those peas where they're meant to be. All in all, a good price, quick delivery, and you get a HUGE Gordon Ramsey face on the side of the box which when cut out provides endless fun for my 2 girls!

I wanted a classic, good quality dinner set for everyday use. I read the reviews on this, ordered and couldn't be happier. It's a very well made and designed set. The dinner plates have a bowl like quality to them which is great for meals with sauces. The side plates are a lovely size, as are the cereal bowls. I also ordered the matching pasta bowls which again, are great quality. I think the price point for this set is excellent, in my opinion you are getting much more than you pay for. I ordered an Orla Kiely set at £130 for a 12 piece set and the quality wasn't a patch on this, hence it was returned and Gordon Ramsay was ordered!

Ending up buying 3 sets of this amazing dinner service,The Review below almost put me off but it seemed very unlikely that Royal Doulton one of the finest world-class brands in tableware would produce anything less then excellent and the fact it was the Gordon Ramsay range who seeks ultimate excellence in everything set alarm bells off about the review. So I ordered 1 set to start with and the only question I have is why is it so cheap? The Plates are elegant and beautiful in a simplistic modern way. Very high quality and much better then my last Derby set that cost 5x the price. I now have the mugs as well. Outstanding Value and incredible quality

I bought this dinner service to supplement one I bought some years ago, as I needed more so I can only put the dishwasher on every few days. They are excellent quality and look great. The original dishes are still in great condition which is why I bought more of the same.

So pleased with these lovely plates and bowls; I bought 2 sets. I would say they area a warm white colour. I love the fact that the plates are slightly wider than my old ones yet still fit nicely in the dishwasher. I am just more careful with the loading now as they have a definite curved lip on them so fit closer together. I like this design of plate as it’s so useful if you like a lot of gravy! I don’t know yet about durability as haven’t had them long but overall I’m very happy with them.

We bought our first set a few years back and it's still as good as new, and only recently bought another. Hard wearing and fine in the dishwasher with my only complaint being they are just a tad wide for a standard kitchen top unit.

We have had the Gordon Ramsay white Maze plates (along with matching coffee mugs, flat white mugs & saucers) for some time, so it was a no brainer to get these when we wanted something in grey. They are a great colour and arrived packed very, very well. There was a crush / dent on one corner of the carton from the courier, but the packaging absorbed this and all was in tact in the carton. The look great, wash well and are quite tough.

Brought to replace broken items from the same set purchased some years ago. Items are well made, durable and the old set looks no different to the new showing that it is long lasting (unless dropped onto tiled floors!) Item were extremely well packaged, no breakages during transit. Really pleased with the price given the total to replace individual items, definitely value for money for timeless and beautiful tableware.

Really good restaurt quality plates but buildnto use at home also. Unfortunatly its a small set.

First, these are very pretty dishes with a nice sturdy feel. I have had larger bowls from this set for many years without any chips or breakage. They do mark a bit from your silverware, but nothing I couldn't remove. Second, one plate did arrive broken. I was worried about the process to get it replaced since I did not want to deal with packaging up the whole set to return it. Luckily, I reached out to the manufacturer and they were amazing. No need to send anything back, they are shipping out a replacement. 100% recommend.

This plate set is exactly what I hoped for: beautiful clean style, elegant looking and it feels firm and good quality. Seller has packed it very carefully and sturdy, so it survived the transport perfectly. Also delivery was fast. Overall: very happy and satisfied!

I have rated the product 5 stars because it would be unfair to rate it negatively. It looks great, excellent quality and we are very happy with it. Whatever is left of it anyway... Unfortunately the delivery and experience with Amazon customer service deserves 1 star! The outer carton was not displaying any FRAGILE / Handle with Care sticker and arrived visibly damaged. Two of the dinner plates were broken and after contacting Amazon they offered to refund the product, but I have to send it back to the UK at my expense, before being refunded in full (including shipping costs). Australia Post is quoting in excess of $150 to send it back to the UK! what a waste!!!! So now I am left with broken dinner plates and will probably wear the cost of buying the replacements because I think it is a disgrace to send rubbish back to the other side of the world for absolutely no reason. Shame...
