Webcam 1080P HD PC Skype Camera with Microphone, PAPALOOK USB Web Cam Plug and Play, Video Calling Computer Camera for Live Streaming, Compatible with Mac OS Windows 10/8/7

I purchased this Webcam on the 15/06/2017 from Amazon, it was delivered promptly and within the allotted time. It was well packaged to prevent damage in transit. My son's laptop has a built in webcam which is very poor at best & he uses it to Skype home from University but more importantly to Skype his girlfriend & because of the poor quality, he is frustrated. Dad to the rescue with a new webcam for under £10, I had tried it on my laptop with Windows 10 & the image quality was amazing. It was simply a plug and play job, no need to install the supplied software. My son's laptop is 3 years old with Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 & again, it was a plug and play job. He Skyped his girlfriend to test it out & was over the moon. I can't repeat what he said when I told him it cost less than £10 before he tried it, lol. Build quality is very good & the price, excellent value for money. The results speak for themselves on Skype & Windows 10 but what about the included software? Let's not go there, I wouldn't advise using the software provided, results leave a lot to be desired. Obviously I haven't tried the webcam using other operating systems & software but can vouch for Windows 10.

I highly recommend this product to ANYONE in need of a webcam for whatever reason. It's not overly advanced but will record in high quality, with a focusable lense. It simply plugs in with a USB no fussing about with software and seems to be well made. the clip could be a little tighter but it hasn't fallen off or even come close so I think I'm being pedantic there.will re-review later if I find any flaws in it.

Says HD but it aint - not at all!Is there even a HD webcam that exists? I've had mine for years now and it only gets worse as time goes on haha. I kept this camera because it worked but it has never been high quality. At least in my experience, and I have a pretty good computer.

I've started using Skype with customers are work. My laptop has a 720p Web cam but I wanted to get something standalone so I could fix to my external monitor and be a bit better.1. stand is very good and you can pretty much position anywhere.2. Focus length is weird - it's and wide angle lens that's then cropped - it makes you look like you have a narrow face.3. Video quality identical to my built in Web am.4. The video was sooo bright - one side of my face was completly white from the window. Even changing the settings could not reduce it enough.

I was looking forward to receiving (and playing) with this camera, mostly because my built-in laptop camera lacks definition. The camera arrived on time, was suitably packaged and looked to be well constructed.I plugged the camera in and it was immediately recognised.However, the camera failed to work. I tried it on a Win10 and a Win7 laptop and even a XP Desktop, and whereas the camera was connected properly and listed in devices, there just wasn’t any audio or visual output. I also tried updating the drivers and installing their software. Unfortunately, no matter what configuration, application, software or platform I tried - it just didn’t work.I tried to contact the seller for a replacement but, unable to find the appropriate link that once used to be supplied, was thus obliged to return it for a refund.Bering unable to try out and feedback on a working camera in this instance, I am therefore obliged to rate this product at the minimum 1 star.

Looks pretty cool with black back and silver look front (this front seems a bit shiny) might have been better all black.Is actually really robust little web cam.Found it easy to set up and picture quality is excellent assume as described 1080p.People have commented on the clarity of picture and easy to focus once you set up software few issues using with Skype but that's probably Windows 10 and Skype as works fine on Zoom and Google Meet.Also the microphone seems very effective as even at quite some distance can be heard clearly would recommend for anyone either in home or office.Good Value for money works better than it looks in my view.

The main thing here is that it uses the Windows 10 default driver provided my Microsoft. Therefore it works out of the box with the MS Camera program and therefore does not leave you exposed to the risks of proprietary software not being upgraded and the thing becoming useless. It does everything they say. It is solidly built and has a good mounting bracket that will work well in a wide variety of circumstances. It has a manual focus - which you may judge a good thing or a bad thing. I judge it a good thing. The price is good and I would happily buy more of these.

Good webcam and does what it says. The internal microphone was a pain as there is no physical way to switch it off and as I was using a microphone, I was streaming an echo. The camera microphone can be switch off via the windows control panel but there is no instructions on how to do this.
