No in depth explanations
This book would be a good first read for someone to have BEFORE learning anything about gunsmithing. This book DOES NOT actually show you how to do anything with any step by step directions.

Misleading title, not really self defense oriented.
A misleading title, somewhat disappointed. For general improvements and projects articles are not bad. But a bit dated in concept. Chapters not even close to being a self defense oriented gunsmithing guide. Too much content spent on the 1911. Not really enough on the tupperware guns...
