Great build and design, sturdy and easy to assemble (20 secs on your own)
Bought the cot with additional mattress and soft fitted sheet (x2 in the pack) - as recommended by Amazon bundle. Superb design. Really sturdy and great quality. The German's really know how to design and build stuff!! Needed the thicker, separate mattress though for added comfort for the little one. This is perfect for small homes, flats or travel where you need to put it up and away every day or so. Also a great playpen with plenty of room (for sleep or play). Can't recommend it highly enough. Last thing: Assembly is - short sides, raise and lock in place first, long sides raise and lock in place second and push the middle section down to lock it all in place. Reverse to dis-assemble (press buttons indicated on the sides). I did the opposite at the start and took forever to figure it out. Once realising my stupidity I could assemble and dis-assemble it in just over 10 seconds!!! Amazing value for money.

Good priced travel cot that fits proper cot mattress
Have used this a few times so far since we bought it a few months ago. I am usually not very good with putting up these kind of things, but I had done it with a previous travel cot and this one was pretty much exactly the same, so it was super easy.I've found it easy and light weight enough to move around a bit (taking it in the car to a friend's place, I haven't tried walking far holding it), to put up and take down only takes a few minutes and it fits a normal cot mattress (120 X 60) which was the main reason I got it. I have used it with just the foldable mattress at the bottom, which as other reviewers say is thin and quite rustly - but I would say this is pretty standard on all the travel cots I've come across. For naps, it will do but for over night sleep I wanted something that could take the proper cot mattress. So far it's been really handy and easy, hopefully will continue to be useful as we visit people more (whenever that may happen again, given the current circumstances!)And I felt the price was very good, considering the price of some of the more well known baby brands.

Make sure you buy a mattress to go with this
I bought this for my nearly 2 year old, a travel cot which could be used at the grandparents home but was not a permanent feature. I was not expecting much, I thought even if it lasts 1 year I will be happy! Firstly it is not completely light weight when folded but also not weighing too much. I can carry this for probably for like 5 mins before I need to change hands (important for those who may need to take it via public transport or if the car is not nearby). The materials seem fairly decent, I have seen better but that quality is at a premium and this is very cheap in price, so no surprises when I opened it up. It opens really easily and closes easily to, however, make sure you take time folding the unit down properly, I can see this breaking if you forgot to unlatch all 4 push button clips. I have no problems with it and confident it will last so just take your time and ensure you follow all the steps. You will need a mattress, this is a must, I just bought the Hauck £25 mattress and my daughter has slept fine on it. You will need a flat surface (the level of the floor is irrelevant, works on carpet and wooden floors) as the central part of the cot bed has a middle leg which needs to sit on the floor or the central area will not be supported.Do not put any weight on the frame when you are lowering or picking up your little one, this could break it. My daughter was inside and leaned on the bars and mesh and it was fine, but my weight is much more than hers so I can see an adult weight breaking this.A lot of this is down to common sense and I can not say I am overly cautious, I have just got used to checking it twice before folding and not leaning on the frame. It feels very sturdy, cannot see this toppling over. I would buy it again, this is only designed for occasional travel use, I would not recommend this as a daily substitute for a wooden cot.Hope you found this helpful.

Easy to put up and pack away, but on the heavy side.
My first thought on receiving the parcel was "wow, this is heavy". Once out of the box, I found carrying the cot by the handle distributed the weight well enough, but I definitely won't be carrying it further than between my house and the car.Unpacking and setting up the cot is as easy as it looks on the video. Inside the bag, the mattress is wrapped around the frame and you have to undo the velcro straps on the side to get it out. You lift the sides of the frame and click them into place and then push the base down until it clicks. This feels plenty sturdy for a baby, but I wouldnt put an adult's weight on it.You unfold the mattress and put it inside. This is where the cot is really lacking, as the mattress is thin and hard. I have already ordered a separate travel mattress to put on top, but my total cost is still cheaper than that of other cots I looked at.Packing away is just as easy. You take out the mattress and pull the handle in the center of the base. This pulls the base up and releases the buttons you need to be able to press in order to fold the sides of the frames. Once all folded, you wrap the mattress back around the frame and pull the velcro straps closed tight. This ensure it fits back in the bag.The carry handle is actually on the underside of the mattress, so you have to make sure to put the bag on the correct way so that the handle pokes through the intended gap in the bag.Baby hasn't slept in this yet, but all in all the cot is as described and good value for the money paid. The only issue being the need for an additional mattress.
