does it come with a power cable

There is a cable 6m with a plug, but it is better to buy an extension cord for peace of mind and not to strain the original cable.

I purchased this item in June 2017 and unfortunately the strimmer cap has broken. Where can I get another cap?

Not sure what you mean by this but if it is the spool that contains the nylon line, then just by another spool as this is a complete item. My guess is that you bumped it too hard and it will then break. I hardly ever bump mine, just press on it and pull another length out, seems easier to me.

Can I fit a manual line spool to this appliance?

I used a line i bought from garden centre that looked same width and put it onto existing spool.

What is the difference between standalone and with line option?

With line , you get extra spool of line
