## Description

From the manufacturer SIMPLE WHEEL CHANGING SYSTEM All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a quick and easy wheel changing system, allowing users to enjoy racing using different Thrustmaster wheels. The ecosystem of Thrustmaster add-on wheels, composed of wheels sold separately without a base or pedals, offers T300RS users a wide selection of products specially designed for different motorsport styles: from GT circuit racing to rally racing on rough terrain, all options are open to Thrustmaster racers. Simply rotate the locking system on the base of the T300RS to remove the current wheel, in order to attach a new wheel to the base. The quick release system for the wheel only requires the use of a Phillips screwdriver, for excellent long-term gaming stability. FAST, POWERFUL BRUSHLESS SERVOMOTOR All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a brushless servomotor with nearly 25 watts of power, for fast and precise performance and impeccable control on any racing terrain. Realistic, accurate transmission of the different elements of each race directly to the user’s hands makes this motor a must-have. Contrary to a simple brushed motor, the brushless motor technology built into the T300RS series racing wheels also allows for an extremely quiet racing experience. The brushless motor’s endurance allows the racing wheel to maintain constant intensity and power in terms of Force Feedback, avoiding a loss of sensations even during very long gaming sessions. As opposed to brushed motors, this brushless motor technology provides stability and dynamic performance for the driver right through to the end of every race. DUAL-BELT SYSTEM All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a dual-belt system which reduces disruptive noises and allows for smoother movements, for a more supple and flexible driving experience. The dual-belt mechanism allows for smoothing out of the different data elements received from the race course or circuit. Thanks to its direct link to the brushless motor, the system removes the possible presence of any dead zones and decreases uncomfortable jolting, without detracting from the power with which effects are transmitted to the user, for optimal realism in all racing environments. Also designed for and built into Thrustmaster’sflagship racing wheel series (T-GT and TS-XW, sold separately), this system represents a significant technological evolution in terms of performance, for races where the details can make all the difference. PROPRIETARY MAGNETIC TECHNOLOGY All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature Thrustmaster’sproprietary magnetic technology, for optimal wheel precision that won’t decrease over time: enjoy reliability that’s recognized as a gold standard by virtual racers worldwide. Thrustmaster’spatented contactless H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRateTechnology) system, without any potentiometers, allows for an unlimited product lifespan and optimal precision throughout gaming sessions: up to 16-bit resolution, with 65,536 values. An excellent investment for all gamers looking to get started racing, keep up their skills or significantly improve their racing performance, this proprietary technology also spearheads a variety of Thrustmaster’s high-end products — including the T-LCM Pedals pedal set, and its flagship T-GT and TS-XW series racing wheels (all sold separately).

Review: A happy customer - I have waited 2 months before writing this review. I have had a few wheels and pedal over the years (and tried many more), and after a really bad transition from previous gen Xbox (g920 I think?) to getting a ps5 and assuming a g923 would be the obvious choice - how wrong was I. I tried it a couple times, but even with true force off and fiddling with all settings in f12025 and gt7, it was just a noise machine, but told me nothing that useful at all. It really didn't suit my needs or meet my expectations. I didn't want a DD wheel as for me and my skill level, it is hard to justify, and I can't get a cockpit due to space but have a decent enough wheel stand that works for me. I heavily modified my old pedal set on the g920, they were pretty good and would have happily kept those - the pedal set here is much better out of the box. Yes there are additional mods I may make out of the warranty period, but they are a great pedal set straight away (after the included brake mod, then in game range calibration), so no hurry there. The force feedback via the belt drive is very smooth, powerful and quiet. I find it so communicative and have a lot more confidence in close proximity online racing now, and because of this, I am able to learn and improve my SIM racing skills. I can feel the weight transfer during the different phases of cornering, and how these differ with different vehicles and engine/drive configurations, and catching slides with my hands rather than my eyes. Make sure the fan is set to always on mode. This fan is on my list for replacement, but I have had no heat issues so far, even with a 50% GP distance race (1 hour constant use). If I had to be critical about something, the rubberised wheel I didn't like at first, and I was thinking about a replacement rim not to far away, but I got used to it and forgot until writing this - cant be that bad then! There is also quite an extensive thrust master ecosystem, so there are many upgrade paths available. I paid £299 for mine and even at that price I would still recommend it. My experience is limited to gt7 and f1 2025 on ps5.
Review: The gold standard mid-range racing wheel. - I have been racing on the PS4 with the Logitech G29 for several months now but it just felt like it was missing something. After reading lots of reviews and looking at several videos I decided to take the plunge and get the T300RS GT. It seems to have slightly shorter USB cables than the G29 but everything else feels far superior. Firstly, you can interchange the wheel for different models just by unlocking a collar. The wheel itself feels heavy and sturdy and the buttons have a very solid feel to them, especially the paddle shifters, although the T300 has a rubber coating and the G29 has a slightly nicer feeling soft-faux-perforated leather in the hand. The base is very solid on the T300 and can be secured with a slightly awkward screw bar or, as i have done, hard-mount it to my playseat using two bolts - not supplied (but the G29 comes with 4 when it only needs 2, which was handy). After playing with the T300 for a short while it quickly became apparent that the wheel had a much heavier feel to the driving and the belt-driven force feedback is much stiffer, without the clunkiness of the gear-driven G29. Although the GT pedals in the T300 look terrible at first sight compared with the G29's, they are actually much more accurate and are more adjustable for your preferred feel, plus they have a rubber conical insert which helps with the stiffness of the brake - while this sounds ridiculous it really makes quite a difference and my braking was more progressive with fewer lock-ups and less need to keep messing with the brake balance. Overall, although slightly more expensive, the T300RS GT is the superior product and you really notice a difference in your lap times when you play. The G29 is still an excellent wheel though and will suit most hobby racers to a T, but for me the T300 RS GT is a much better wheel set.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this wheel be used on your lap or do you have to attach it to a table or frame?**
A: Definitely need a stable table or wheel stand for this wheel as the force feedback is quite strong but it does come with a table clamp also has mounting points for screwing it down.

**Q: Is it better to use with the wheel stand?**
A: Of course, I bought a wheel stand from DIWANGUS. It can be fixed with screws to prevent the pedal from sliding on the floor, and can be quickly folded for storage

**Q: I bought this and it doesnt have a headphone jack, how do you use your ps4 headset with it?**
A: I plug my headphones into the TV. Had to get an extension though, only cost a few £s

**Q: what is the rotation on it?**
A: 240 degrees with the T80

The G29 is still an excellent wheel though and will suit most hobby racers to a T, but for me the T300 RS GT is a much better wheel set.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too much for a beginner
*by M***. on 23 January 2024*

Using on my XRocker XR steering rig btw. Now, I will not return this tho, because it is indeed a high quality material with a short circumference that has slim leather cover on the wheel. Out of the box it was a little tricky to set up because of the little screw right behind the wheel that is there for tightening the roller screw to fasten the wheel onto the drive engine. Wheel could be abit larger but I am happy with it since you can remove it and replace with a newer one. However, this wheel is too much for a beginner and too expensive for a beginner as well. It does 3 full-rotations each direction which is too much for anyone that doesnt drive a real life car. Transitioning from a regular controller to this will take practice and patience because this is a good experience but it isn't that chilling unless you turn force feedback off entirely for your new experience. I have played GT7, DriveClub, GRID Legends, GTA 5 with controller so far and I am used to that. So, the experience is indeed overwhelming at first try with the wheel. I played Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 and City Car Driving and GRID legends on PC with this wheel. It is a difficult experience on PC to play on older games like the city driver one because PC calibration can be quite difficult especially since some games have way too many inputs that cannot even fit the wheel. So, you might need to manually add the buttons yourself to the game butbthat might not be enough. However, the wheel support is full on GT7, Grid Legends on pc has no force feedback but it does work fully in terms of button input range pick-up. It does however also feel expensive because it feels incomplete without a handbrake and a shifter for £350+ price tag. I am sure that thrustmaster will not disappoint in-terms of longevity of the product. However, if your budget is shorter, pls go for this but used from CeX or just go for a cheaper wheel from this company as you might not be able to use its full potential for a while. The feedback is indeed very good for a beginner experience. Keeping it at 50% torque is more than enough. However, if you wanna drift then I recommend keeping Force feedback off else you might go off track uncontrollably. Also, your wheel might have an issue switching from PS to PC mode when you slide the switch. This is because you need to power off and power on the wheel again or MAYBE use the 2.1 USB port instead of 3.0. Would have been better tho if the wheel just increases torque resistance at a certain degree to reduce the need of full turns for games to invite a more effective beginner experience. It is a good product tho, goes well with XRocker XR rig from Argos and I will soon buy the shifter and the handbrake too. You might not need shifter as much as the brake. Pressing the buttons on the wheel for handbrake is not really an effective experience. The cable also has a pipeline for ease of routing to the exit. The brake pedal also has a resistance... material in for of a steel which you can attach to it in order to add more resistance to it (which I dont use yet but might be useful for GT7 braking). The pedal foot contact casing can also be readjusted up or down. I am happy, I just hope it lasts a few years. Enjoy your wheel if you got it! It will certainly last and you definitely wont need anything more expensive than this at all.
