Lomo 40L Rolltop Motorbike Waterproof Drybag Bungee Loops

Super easy to handle, fill up. The quality is very good too and it seems very durable. Definitely not cheap material. Very reasonable price too. I needed something for my 2 weeks bike tour and it made my life a lot easier during the road. I just kept food in it so if someone steals it then it us not a big loss but you can actually fill it up with anything. There is no rain that could get through this bag. It is rare to find stuff with reasonable price and still get good quality. I also tried the larger, 60L, version but returned it as soon as I opened the package. Same brand but nothing near as good as this one. Material is different and the way you pack it is different. For motorcycles, this is much better.

I fitted a tent and a sleeping bag and air mattress into this bag for the abr festival. I hadso much spare space on my bike i could fillmy top box with beer.! Greatest kit ever!

I've previously bought a 60 litre Lomo dry bag, which I used on a week-long motorcycle camping trip around Europe as well as a normal overnight/weekend bag. It swallowed up all my camping gear, clothes, tools, sleeping bag the lot, with still a bit of room to spare and proved to be really tough and rugged, but ultimately was too big for everyday use. Lomo was therefore an obvious port of call when I wanted a smaller version, but I went for the specific motorbike drybag as the attachment loops would make for easier and more secure fixing to the pillion seat. It should be note that the bag is NOT the same material or construction as the other normal Lomo drybags, but is a single-skin, tough, waterproof material with welded seams closer to the material used by Oxford, Hein Gerick and Kreiga. The big advantage compared with some other dry bags I've used, is the fact that the opening is the FULL width of the bag and not just a 'slit' that is incorporated into the neck. This has prevented me getting things like a sleeping bag into one in the past, even though the bag itself would have been big enough! The attachment loops are numerous, tough and well placed. There is a useful handle as well as a detachable shoulder strap which will be really handy off the bike. 40 litres is still a big bag, but as it rolls from the end, it's size can more easily be reduced to manageable proportions if you don't need the capacity. I've used a Kreiga 10 litre tailpack for years, all year round in all weathers and really rate them. If I'm honest, I wouldn't say this particular Lomo bag is of quite the same standard (the Kreiga has a double-skin, with a removable waterproof liner), but having said that, I don't envisage any issues, providing you treat it with a little respect and don't fill it full of sharp, pointy things! Added to the fact that this is at least half the price of may other equivalent 'motorcycle' dry bags and CONSIDERABLY less than anything by Kreiga, you can't really go wrong. I've not yet used it in the rain so far, so I can't really comment on the 'waterproofness', but I've used similarly constructed bags before and don't anticipate any issues.

Great item for clothes when away

I bought this for a trip across the Alps. I have plenty of luggage options on the GS but wanted to make sure I had plenty of dry clothes for the trip. I had looked at pricier options but took a punt based on the reviews. I couldn't be happier with it. There are fancier looking bags available and ones that open across the top rather than the end but this did exactly what I wanted. Stuffed full of everything I needed for the 10 day trip and I just took out what I needed into my other luggage on my evening stop overs. I bought a couple of quick release bungies (see link) Motorcycle Adjustable Strap by ROK Straps - 18"-60" (Twin Pack) that I could leave strapped to the bike and the loops rather side of the handle kept everything secure as I could feed the straps through with any fear of anything slipping or adjusting position once it was over the seat. If I could offer one tip, buy some vacuum sacks with a hand pump. I managed to get so much more in and pre-packaged a load of 'second week' clothes for an easy swapper on the trip. I can vouch for the bags ability to stay dry as I rode through one of the heaviest days of rain I have had the 'pleasure' to experience. Everything inside was safe and dry.

I needed a waterproof bag for motorcycle camping to hold my sleeping bag and camp kit. The bag has great storage, is very strong and completely weather proof. I was so impressed I have bought a second one to hold my tent and sleeping mat. The bags have secure lashing loops and carry handles, I fully recommend this product.

Got this item to carry my tent and camp bed on a motorcycle trip. I was looking for something that would keep all the camping equipment that I needed together on the rack on my bike. When this arrived it was clear that it was a sturdy well made item. I was able to fit a 2 man dome tent and my Thermarest cot into the bag easily I also had room to add my toolkit for the bike and a couple of other bits. Securing this lot to the rack was pretty easy as well. With all the items contained in the bag I used 3 RokStrap motorcycle ties to hold it in place. Two wrapped around the body through the loops in the handle and onto the Ventura sport rack. The third was secured along the length of the bag over the ends to prevent sideways movement. One end of that Rokstrap went through the loop formed by the bag closure. This was the arrangement for over 1300 miles of mostly Autobahn and did not move at all. Also in heavy rain we had on a couple of occasions the contents remained dry. As you can see in the photo. The bag was the back stop for the bags secured to the seat, so nothing moved leaving me to enjoy the run! Not a glamorous piece of kit but it does it's job well

I bought this for some solo motorbike camping and it worked a treat. Worth practicing how to fold and fasten the bag, because its not something that you want to struggle with when it's pouring with rain. The seams are well covered and everything has stayed dry. There are loops to put straps through when fixing it to the bike, but the bag does not come with additional straps, so you'll have to use your own. The size is as described, and given the shape, how well it works is really depending on how well you pack it.

Ottima borsa e ottima qualità prezzo. L'ho usata sotto il diluvio per due giorni, ha preso talmente tanta acqua che avevo messo in conto una volta aperta di trovare un po' d'acqua all'interno, ma invece tutto completamente asciutto!

J'ai utilise deux sacs non stop pendant deux mois en août et septembre, sur les paniers de ma KTM. Ils n'ont pas bronché, sont faciles à fermer, restent fermes à haute vitesse, totalement imperméables, ne se sont pas déchirés sous la pression des tendeurs....parfait, et très satisfait
