DiCUNO G9 Dimmable LED Light Bulbs, 4.5W (50W Halogen Equivalent), 450LM, Warm White (2700K), G9 Ceramic Bulbs for Home Lighting, 12-Pack

After purchasing some dimmable LEDs last year and being extremely disappointed in their brightness and range of dimming, I was extremely hesitant to buy replacements for them. I eventually opted to try these out, even though the reviews gave me cause to not be confident.I am delighted to say though they have exceeded (my somewhat low) expectations of them. These bulbs are bright and I believe are the 550 lumens they state, do not flicker and have a wide range on their dimming. Although for my switch the last 1/3rd of the "rotation of the dial" is at minimum output, the remaining increase is smooth and varied in the output.I will note that I had a relatively expensive switch installed at the same time as the bulbs last year, and reading other reviews it seems that you need to have all the technology, including the light fitting, working in harmony to get the best result. They are definitely tall, but in my light fixture they fit in lovely.

Good quality lights, i have lots in the house, good pack to purchase overall i would say...Pro's- Great Electricity Bill saving bulbs, around 90% i believe- Easy Installation. I- Long life (So far no problems!)- Instant Full Light with ease with rapid starting time compared with others- Wide Beam Angle- No flickeringCon'sNot much to complain about to be very honest, for the price and compared to others i am very happy with these, if i was being ultra critical which i think is a bit unfair i would add some protection to the packaging.Very happy.

These bulbs are not the cheapest, but seem to be good quality, and came well packaged. Perhaps not as bright as I had hoped, but OK. My main observation is that there seems to be some variation in the shade of these bulbs. They are in a modern 6 arm light fitting quite close to the ceiling, which is painted white. You can see slight shading between some of the bulbs on the ceiling, they are not a uniform colour. It doesn't affect the overall light in the room, but I just wonder why there is a difference in colour. Too early to comment on reliability.

I have worked in the electrical industry for over 30 years and was there at the birth of LED lighting. I have never come across such a quality lamp (yes that is the correct term for bulb) remember bulbs grow, lamps glow! The price is incredible and these come beautifully packaged in an outer box and each led lamp is in an individual box. The output is the brightest I have come across on a G9 lamp and the quality is crisp, clear and flicker free. I would have no hesitation recommending these. Good work Dicuno.

Purchased 29 Apr 2022. Of the 12, I installed 7 straight away leaving 5 spare. All but 3 have gone dim and no longer work (see image). Some failed quickly others lasted a bit longer. All in all the quality is poor and I'm disappointed to have spent the money on these. I will not purchase DiCUNO again.

The problem we have these days with LED manufacturers is that they don't mention that most old light dimmers simply won't work well with LEDs - they have a low current usage threshold that if not met, leads to the LEDs not lighting or more likely (as I have), strobing. Our house was built 8 years ago and the dimmers were new and up-to-date then, but they still have a minimum current draw requirement. As I've done with other multi bulb light sets with LEDs, I have had to re-install one old halogen bulb to raise the current used at the dimmer and the strobing stops - it's not an elegant solution and you are not making all the savings you hoped for but it works (the light from the halogen looks different as well BTW). I can't comment on durability as i've only just installed them but experience tells me that LEDs do not last any longer than ordinary bulbs despite the huge stated life times. The problem is who bothers to record when bulbs are installed and how often and for how long you use a light fitting. Manufacturers know this of course which is why they get away with such huge and nonsensical life time spans for their products.0 I've used big name brand LED bulbs in the past and they have also failed, but not with the same frequency as the cheap chinese imports I have to say, but are they worth paying 2-3 times the upfront cost...... for me no, but for you maybe.......

Can’t fault the product but I returned these & ordered warm white instead. Looking to replace inefficient halogen bulbs after eye surgery that has left me needing good light, especially in the kitchen in the evening, I thought daylight white would be my best option - but they are so bright all the family complained! Excellent customer service, I had an immediate response to my email with instructions on how to return bulbs. My order of warm white replacements arrived the next day & they are perfect, good light & comfortable working environment without the extra heat that’s generated by 9 halogen bulbs, plus cheaper running costs to look forward to.

I originally purchased the 6000K - cool / daylight light for my lounge thinking it would feel like very light and open, but it turned out not to be the right type of light for a lounge. I have since returned them, and ordered the 3000K warm light, from the same vendor, which to my delight made the room feel inviting and comfy, hence, warm light. I also noticed there was an incredible difference in electricity usage between the original halogen and these LED's. My lounge light has 8 bulbs in it and the difference in reading in the smart meter were were significantly low with the LED lights. Big thanks to seller.
