I really love the look of this, and it was so easy to apply

A very attractive pattern in an otherwise stark bathroom, it looks really good. The pattern is bold and simple and adds a much-needed level of privacy to an existing (totally see-through) frosted window while still letting in the same amount of daylight. The film is thick enough to permit manhandling and repositioning and, thankfully, peels apart and lies flat again. To simplify matters, re-roll the film in the opposite direction before you go to position it - that way it will be flat when you go to put it up. I found it best to simply wipe the window with a damp cloth as spraying water on the glass made bubbles under the film. Also, if you don't get the size just right it can lift at the edges, and then it's a hassle trimming it to fit. I eventually discovered that cutting is easy-peasy if you peel off all the backing paper, stick the entire film to the window and then run the point of a pair of scissors lightly around the window frame. The excess film just falls away.

My new house had a standard pane in downstairs loo, odd eh? Had to keep blind permanently down, this product was easy to fix and looks great! No blind required, it does block more light than I expected, that said it looks great and gives the room privacy. Excellent product at a great price!

Like it looks good on. I use a blade for accuracy like Stanley carpet cutter. I cut a rough size with scissors bigger than the window. Wet the window then put it 9n. Then used 5heblade slowly to get perfect cut once on. So you can make sure its fully on the edges well. Nightmare wrapping to get off though and ended up cutting the cling trying to get the wrapping off the roll.they need to make an easier wrapper to get off I have a cracked window this is to hide it. It does mute your light but it's got decent privacy

Really easy to use-all you need is sissors to cut to size, something to mist your glass with water, and a squeegee-took longer to measure and cut it than to install it!! I put this on my front door and I love it-the light still comes in, but total privacy. Pattern looks fab and modern to. I looked everywhere for a cool 'modern' pattern(i am very particular!!) . Mini Moderns has a lovely designed film, but it is mega expensive-this was my next favourite, and the price was good. I had loads left over-you could easily get more than one window out of this! I am reviwing this a year after I put this up, and I have had zero problems with it!!

Product arrived in good time and well packaged. It was easy to apply however, I was a little disappointed to find that the pattern is printed on the film as opposed to etched. I wanted it for our front porch door windows, to give us more privacy as we live on quite a busy road. I thought I would be able to see more through it as I believed the pattern would be etched, but because it is printed on, it is impossible to see anything out through it. This means that when the doorbell rings, we have to look out of the front room window or use a side porch window. All of that said, it looks very good, better from outside looking in than the other way round and gives us total privacy. Good price and good quality.

I was attracted to this because of the two advantages I had picked up from the reviews: (1) it's easy to adjust while fitting (you don't have to get it right first time, as with a glue-on product) and (2) when you want a change, it can be removed altogether without leaving any residue. I wanted it to cover the single pane of glass in a lobby door. I knew it would not quite be long enough but assumed I could cut a piece from the side (where there was overlap) to fill the small gap at the bottom. This is when I discovered that - despite appearances - there is a small difference between the horizontal and vertical distances between the squares in the pattern, so my insert did not match up. I then made the mistake of measuring my desired width from a given edge, drew the cutting line on the backing paper and then - as luck would have it - found too late that I was cutting the long edge right through the squares in the pattern. This means that, especially when the sun is behind it, the door looks a bit like a portcullis on its side, albeit one with blunt-ended spikes! Never mind. It's a cheap and excellent product, very quick and easy to apply - and for me it was just an experiment. Ours is serving its purpose well enough for the time being and when I've got nothing better to do I'll get another length and do the job properly.

I hate it when this happens, I purchased this as I read the reviews and was quite excited about receiving it, upon opening I thought that doesn’t look like the picture, so I went to my orders had a look again and to my surprise it didn’t look like the picture, but it did clearly state in the description that this is “transparent,” the transparent part being the tiny squares, not what I wanted, I wanted the frosted kind, the kind the reviews said it was. The picture makes it look as though its silvery coloured as well, it isn’t, it’s white, or at least mine is, this is clearly stated too. But all said and done that’s purely my own fault for not checking and reading the product description. A lesson learned. It pains me that I have to give it a high rating because it’s not what I thought it was, but it’s my own fault, that aside it's very easy to apply just follow the instructions on the back of the paper it comes on (there is an English version there somewhere). There’s also a handy guide on the back to follow so you can cut it straight too. As to why I got transparent when everyone else seems to have the frosted one I just don’t know. Provided this review is for the product I received (from “Create Your World”), just look at the third picture down, the one of the mahogany unit and you should see that the squares are transparent. I would suggest contacting the seller before purchasing to make sure you’re getting what you want as that is what I should have done. D’oh!

Ich habe diese Fensterfolie gekauft, um mehr Privatsphäre in meinem Zuhause zu schaffen, und bin absolut zufrieden! Die Folie bietet einen hervorragenden Sichtschutz, lässt aber trotzdem genügend Licht in den Raum. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die einfache Anbringung – dank der statischen Haftung war kein Kleber notwendig, und eventuelle Blasen ließen sich leicht entfernen. Die Qualität ist top: Die Folie ist langlebig, widerstandsfähig und lässt sich bei Bedarf rückstandslos entfernen. Zudem sieht sie optisch sehr ansprechend aus und verleiht den Fenstern eine moderne Note. Insgesamt eine tolle Lösung für mehr Privatsphäre und Sonnenschutz – klare Kaufempfehlung! Het staat heel erg mooi!

Le design est agréable. Le seul bémol est le manque d’information sur l’aspect transparence / opacité. Pour placer dans une salle de bain, ce type de plastique est à proscrire à moins d’être un peu exhibitionniste.
