Hi there, what is the sweetener used in the tonic concentrate?

Sucralose is chlorinated sucrose, it kills stomach bacteria, causes obese people to gain weight and it has been linked to bowel cancers. Sucralose is an artificial sweetner I repeat it is an artificial swetner. They could use other natural sweetener sech as suvia but splenda is so much cheaper

Does it have quinine in it or just a flavour?

It says on the label that the contents include 'aroma quinine', whatever that is. For me not a particularly good product. Won't be buying again.

The product contains glycerin- isn’t that sugar?

Glycerin is indeed sweet but it’s not sugar. Glycerin is an alcohol. We use sucralose as a sweetener in Zero Indian Tonic. Sucralose is by far the most expensive sweetener but it is also superior than aspartame and other synthetic sweeteners.

What is the quinine content and has it been tested for safety?

Exact quinine content is a company secret. Quinine content is within the allowed limit and the quinine is food and pharma grade, so absolutely safe.
