how much zx 1 do i need in my 1.6 focus petrol engin ?

Can this product be used in a rotary engine ( mazda rx8 ) ?

I would imagine it's ideal for this. Would prevent wear of rotot tips. Always a problem in rotary engines. I've used it in diesels,V8s etc. Not engine specific.Kind regardsRussell

Hi joe. I've used this on a Audi a3 tdi 2006 for the last 3 years. It's safe to use and the performance is amazing. You will notice the difference within 2 weeks.

Isnt the additive zddp...and acidic in use?

ZX1 is NOT acidic to any components inside your engine and in particular does not affect copper. It does not contain any metals or solids of any kind and certainly no zddp. Sheffield University Tribology dept tested ZX1 in 2013/14 (from memory) and they found the product is non acidic to copper. A link to the report is on the ZX1 website here in the UK. ZX1 is also cleared for use by NATO, and has been tested also by many of the major testing houses in europe. It works, I speak from experience of running it in many vehicles and dyno testing before treatment and after. The dyno doesn't lie, showing improved power output after treatment. Use with confidence.
