PlayStation New Sony DS4 Blue (PS4)

Since Sony is so tight with their tech and only supply a single controller, we evidently had to stump up the extra to make sure that two people could actually play a game together! The controller is no different from the standard one and works in much the same way. The casing is robust and can stand a few knocks here and there, and being ergonomically designed, sits in the hands well. The buttons are responsive and the soft touch rubber is comfortable despite repeated and often aggressive use. The colour makes the usual screaming about who-was-the-last-one-to-use-and-forgot-to-charge-it argument redundant and encourages better behaviour since the two controllers are easily distinguishable from one another. In every way, this is a reliable sony branded controller and I would purchase again (if during gameplay controller meets walls in full force headlong collision). I recommend the colour option for a peaceful home.

Just a word of warning about this product as sold by Amazon EU S.à r.l., UK Branch (VAT Number: GB727255821): I purchased this item from Amazon EU S.à r.l., UK Branch. Although listed as new, the item delivered was clearly used...possibly refurbished. It was only £39, so I was saving a couple of pounds. But I suppose it's a lesson of buyer beware. I didn't realise that I was not purchasing directly from Sony/Amazon UK when I bought it. So I take partial blame. However, on the invoice, the item is still listed as "Condition: New" (pics included of both the invoice and the controller). I have arranged a refund, and do not anticipate any issues processing the claim. The design of the New Dualshock 4 controller itself is fine. I like having the light up-front now. But I think the battery life could be improved, and I find that occasionally the controller loses 'sync' with the system, requiring a reset using the pinhole on the back of the controller.

I used to game on just the Playstaion1, 2 and then 3. I then moved to PC gaming but I use a DS4 (using the DS4 application) to play all my PC games (except for things like Civ 5 and TW Warhammer). I love the controller. Not everybody is the same and you may prefer the Xbox controller, but I just can't get on with that. I consider that I have male hands that fit well within a normal range of size. The build quality of this official controller is excellent, and it has in no way worn out on me after countless hours of use.

This is a very good product which works perfect. I would definitely recommend to buy and I will be purchasing another soon.

Although the product was a little faulty and had to be sent back the company got back to me fairly quickly. There was no quibble at all. They kindly refunded me. Not very often you get a kind and trustworthy service who refunded me promptly. Well done guys and thank you.

not sure why as it said was a playstation Sony product but found this one clunky and sticky almost when using it so far. that may ease off but so far a bit disappointing

*sigh* I really didn't want this one to turn out fake. Checked it out pretty thoroughly when it arrived, couldn't notice any differences to my regular controller that came with the PS4. After a few months of using it on and off I realised that the controller has several software bugs, I stated digging deeper in the reviews and taking a look at some of the details. It appears that mine doesn't have some of the differences that other people report, so they must be fixing them up as people point them out... Either way, here are ones I've noticed, it may help others: - Barcode label at the back should be same colour white, fake one has barcode lighter than text - The label contents is very different (for one its missing CE marking required for sale in the EU) - Font on the headphone jack slightly thinner, however, colour seems to be exactly the same as the genuine one - The touchpad click is much louder - Controller light blinks pink as it turns on (might be hard to spot, its pretty subtle) And finally software bugs, many many weird software bugs: - Strange volume settings for the controller speaker and plugged in headphones. Seems to always be set to full volume regardless of the settings on the PS4 - Analog sticks mapping to movement / look seems to be different, more aggressive - Occasionally spurious input is detected on the right analog stick (sometimes character spins uncontrollably while looking at the floor) - When connected to a computer, it regularly freezes, sometimes when pressing down r2 This controller is undoubtedly fake, the factory producing them might have gotten their hands on the same hardware, looking at the software/firmware its clear that this is a shoddy clone. While Sony is one of the worst companies on this earth, getting done by an opportunist doesn't feel very nice.

Good quality joystick. Works as expected and genuine product. Feels great holding the joystick and the gaming experience is out of the world. Have played for more than 6 hours continuously and have not faced any problems till now. Got this for a better deal at 4295 rs during offer sale from amazon.

This controller seems to be legitimate. It works fine so far and I haven't had any problems. It arrived with a small scratch on the surface, but nothing major as it will probably end up with a few more over time anyway. Happy with the purchase as it was a bit cheaper than buying at EB games or JB Hi-Fi.

Habe mir den Controller für den PC geholt. Es funktioniert äußerst gut mit Steam. Einfach mit Bluetooth verbinden und es funktioniert. Hatte schon so ein paar China varianten die immer mal wieder nur gekappt haben, aber das Playstation original ist das beste. Mit dem Touchpad kann man auch die Maus steuern was im vergleich viel besser ist als der Xbox One controller. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass einige Spiele nur die Xbox Tasten anzeigen (Bitte Drücke B), dann muss man manchmal auf Playstation umdenken. Ich habe den Controller für 40€ im Weihnachts Sale gekauft.

Mon plus jeune fils était en vacances à la maison et paf, sa manette a commencé à ne plus se recharger... Il était tellement triste, et je n'avais pas trop de fric... J'ai commandé une manette rouge, elle était dans les prix habituels et en livraison rapide et gratuite... Je suis très contente car c'était une manette qui avait été déjà ouverte... et impeccable, elle est en parfait état ! Mon fils était dans tous ses états, hyper heureux... Il m'a dit que la manette était très bien, sans problèmes et très souple, vu que la sienne avait 2 ans et était dure à manier... C'est redevenu un plaisir pour lui... Il est heureux... Perso, je n'aime pas cette génération jeux-vidéo qui va jusqu'à enlever aux ados la moindre envie de faire une quelconque activité... Il doit bosser à l'école, c'est tout, sinon plus de jeux... pas le choix ! L'état de la manette m'intéressait et me faisait peur car on ne sait pas pourquoi elle a été retournée à Amazon... Je suis très contente et je recommande vivement d'acheter, même si la boîte a été ouverte... Super Achat ❤️ Merci beaucoup 😊❤️❤️❤️ (elle fonctionne toujours parfaitement en avril 2023 !)
