Is it full or semi synthetic?

This is a fuly synthetic oil.As a general guide, any engine oil that starts od eiher 5W or 0W is a fully synthetic oil, but a 0W whilst a much better oil is comparatively expensive.Any oil starting 10W is likly to be called a Smei synthetic, although in reality there is no such thing a a Semi Synthetic oil, it will be a better quality mineral oil - its a marketing ploy. 15W and up are mineral oils.Please note there are now some very good mineral oils on the market so still could appear on some modern car approval lists.Generally refer to the vehicle manufatcurers approval lists for cofirmation of the oil required as there is seriously big diffrences between what appear to be similar oils. Also use a well known maker - many cheaper oils may meet the relevant specifications when new, but will very rapidly deteriorate with just a few miles on the clock - again something of a con as only new oils off the shelf are generally tested for comparison, and asa long as they meet the spec when new, no further tests are done until something goes wrong with the engine.Hope this helps

Would this be good for a vaxhaull zafira b 2009 petrol ?

Hi, you need an oil that meets the Dexos 2 specification. Total Quartz Ineo MC3 5w-30 Low Saps Engine Oil would be ideal.

My Suzuki requires a 0W - 20 fully sysnthetic, however, would this be a suitable (cheaper) alternative?

You need to check with the manufacturers oil listings. 5W - oils are fully synthetic and as you say cheaper. A 0W- oil will have better cold start properties in the winter (easier turning over in the starter motor) Hope this helps
