KONG Classic Stuffable Dog Toy, For Medium Dogs

My dog loves her Kong. She's a miniature poodle. I bought the med/large and it's a bit too big so I bought her a small and it's perfect. She has lots of fun chasing it around especially when it's stuffed with treats.

It’s incredibly durable, even with heavy chewing, and it keeps my dog entertained for ages when stuffed with treats or peanut butter. I have not given a rating for durability as my dachshunds have only had these for two days, time will tell as they can destroy most things!I don’t know why it has taken me so long to buy them these kongs, given one of them especially is food orientated and begs for anything and everything. So, these make her work for the piece of cheese she gets when I make a sandwich. I put a small piece in each one, large enough though so it doesn’t just fall out and off they trot with them. They then spend a long time getting that cheese out. It’s genius and much better than the treat dispensers I have already to try and stimulate them, which they quickly worked out how to get into so treats were obtained from them in under a minute, so I’d stopped using them.I think dogs work out their own ways of getting things out of these. My female is currently throwing hers in the air onto the floor in the hope it will break up what is inside, they also lick in the dispensing hole to make the things inside soggy to make them easier to slip out to eat.You can fill these with lots of things, so vegetables, etc and I like the idea that in the summer I could put things in and then put them in the freezer, especially if we get another summer like this years heat.I also have the kong paste to go in them, but don’t use it each time as it isn’t cheap and kong biscuits. The biscuits fit in well and they do have to try hard to get them out so one biscuit lasts a long time and it is keeping them occupied for extended periods but it is only one biscuit, so not to many in a day to pile on the pounds.I have also bought the medium version of these to mix it up a bit for them.Easy to clean, for inside I use an old toothbrush to get anything remaining out. I don’t know if you could dishwasher them, don’t want to run the risk of ruining them.Definitely a worthwhile investment. In the photo, the purple thing next to the kong is a make up spatula. I ordered them so that when I put paste or pate in the kongs, rather than have to spread it round inside of kong with my finger (as the pastes are disgusting to me, the human,) I use one of these spatulas and then chuck it in the dishwasher once done. It was a pack of 5 at under a fiver and it is meaning a little paste can go a long way.

Kongs are great for dogs, the good for mental stability, this one's a bit small for my pup at 11 werks old, belguin mali, more like for a small dog like a chiwawa great all round thou blues a good size

As advertised it took my dog a few weeks to chew it to bits, most only last a day.

Ich bin absolut begeistert vom KONG Classic für große Hunde! Unser Labrador liebt dieses Spielzeug und es ist mittlerweile aus unserem Alltag nicht mehr wegzudenken. Besonders toll finde ich, dass man es mit Leckerlis oder sogar mit Nassfutter füllen kann – das sorgt für stundenlangen Spielspaß und hält den Hund geistig beschäftigt.Das Material ist extrem strapazierfähig und hält auch kräftigem Kauen problemlos stand – ideal für größere Hunde mit starkem Biss. Wir haben schon viele andere Spielzeuge ausprobiert, aber der KONG ist mit Abstand das langlebigste.Auch als Apportierspielzeug eignet er sich super, da er durch seine Form unberechenbar springt und den Jagdtrieb spielerisch anregt. Außerdem lässt er sich ganz leicht reinigen, was für uns ein weiteres Plus ist.Fazit: Ein tolles, langlebiges und durchdachtes Spielzeug, das sowohl die körperliche als auch die geistige Auslastung unseres Hundes unterstützt. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I bought it for my 12 week old labrador.Just like a new toy she enjoyed playing with it. After a few days she got bored. I wasn't satisfied because it was an expensive toy. So I lokked up some tutorials.Turns out you put food in the toy and dog tries to get the treats out for hours.After doing this with my puppy she plays with it for hours and she loves the toy(she gets food from it so yhea haha.)This toy isn't a necessity. I know it's expensive so buy only of you have a good budget. For my experience it was a very nice investment as my pup has to be alone for a few hours.

Minha cachorra é chamada de piranha pois simplesmente não há nada que ela não consiga destruir com seus dentes. Menos esse brinquedo. É bem caro, mas vale a pena
