Do the doors open upwards?

yes they do. All the late models of Lamborghinis ,like the Countach, Diablo and Murcielago and Aventador do, except the Gallardo and Hurucan which have convetional doors that open outward. hope this helps. Mark.

Are the measurements wrong. Exactly how big is this car?

Ok. The measurements stated are of the box in mm not cms it comes in. The car is 1.24 scale measuring 20cm x 8 cm x 4.5cms total dimensions. (excluding door mirrors).This is as accurate as I can be. Hope this helps. Overall good model, lots of detail. Mark.
