Poor-quality product
DISCLAIMER: The following review was written for the same product sold by a different supplier (FUDISI Tech). While the comments regarding customer service may not apply, I am cross-posting it here because the other reviewers are waxing lyrical about a product that has clear shortcomings, which consumers need to be aware of.I purchased this product through Amazon on July 19th 2017, but only got to use it from September 2017 onwards on account of holidays etc. I also bought a nice tablet case to keep it safe; and applied a high-quality, tempered glass screen protector to protect the screen.Within a month of starting to use it, there were issues. The first thing I noticed was that the tablet got quite hot by the time ~50% of the battery had been used. So I started using it for shorter periods of time to try and prevent this happening - though I shouldn't have to do that. Then, one fine morning, the screen wouldn't turn on for no apparent reason. I tried every trick I could think of, including hooking it up to my TV, but this was not a sustainable solution. Then, about a fortnight later, the screen started working fine again - before failing once again a week later.By that point, I'd had enough and emailed the seller, FUDISI Tech, on 12th November 2017. I got a next-day response from someone called Lynn, who requested further details and suggested that I "charge the tablet properly". I replied on November 19th with a lengthy email setting out the problem and have not heard anything else since then.In the meantime, the tablet continued to work intermittently until May this year. At that point, I discovered that, whenever I attempted to boot into Android OS, the tablet would "freeze" while displaying the Teclast booting screen until the battery fully discharged and the tablet switched off. After, once again, trying every trick I could think of, I gave up using it and put it in a drawer so that I wouldn't have to see it and get my blood pressure up. Over the past few weeks, I've tried to get it working again and discovered that I could boot into Windows OS, but not Android OS.In my experience, this is a poor-quality product, pure and simple; and to say that I was not thrilled by the customer service either would be an understatement. The concept behind this product was great, but the execution quite shoddy. It has completely put me off buying this particular brand again; and also buying any dual-OS tablet.
