These are perfect for the corners of the cage around food bowls for my African Greys. They're just the right size for the feet of medium parrots. The sandpapery finish is good and should hold up a long time.The dimensions given were helpful; it connects about 10" from each side of the corner you put it in, so consider doors and other obstructions that might make it impossible to mount. I was lucky that it barely fit inside the door.As other reviewers mentioned, the washers aren't big enough for large parrot cages where the bars are typically an inch or so apart. I just used the larger washers off of old perches I was getting rid of, but washers are less than a dollar at the hardware store, too.

Is about perfect size for my green cheek, and nice size/shape for door on his cage. I found it just right to set his cuttle bone in the middle, and don't use it as a high traffic area. My goal isn't really for him to use it all the time, but hopefully just enough to wear the tootsies down. Was easy to install, and solid/good hardware.

This perch is made well but is not the right size for my Quaker Parrot, I got it to go around in front of his food dish, but it's too small and he can't stand on it to eat from his dish. It's not the fault of the product. I liked the product so ordered the next size up, sorry to say, that was way too big for what I wanted it used for, and not only that, the blue color looks great but my bird is put off by the color for some quirky reason and won't go near it! Again not the fault of the manufacturer.

Perfect size for a medium size cage

I was a little concerned this would be too small for our Blue and Gold McCaw. It actually turned out to be one of his favorite spots, especially at night. It was a good investment.

Great perch to help keep my bird’s nails less sharp without trimming. Also works to keep his beak from flaking.

Only 1 out of the 3 I got had this problem but they are prefect for around food dishes for an Amazon parrot. To small the parrot in the picture
