There was a defect with part of my order but the manufacturer rectified the issue promptly, efficiently and effortlessly. The product is great value for money and I would recommend Two Bare Feet products to all.

Excellent set. I took these to the Maldives for my first time snorkel and I had a guide with me the first time. The mask fogged and the snorkel leaked but I swapped it to the left side and no more leak, I got the guide to burn the film off the inside of the mask a couple of times, it looked ruined at first but you wipe the black soot off with paper towel then smear with tooth paste and rinse, no more fog! I swam with reef sharks and sting rays, manta rays up close and at one point I got stuck in a strong current over shallow water in the open ocean and I thank the small but mighty fins for giving me the power to escape unarmed. The snorkel prevents wave leaks and you can easily clear any water with a blow, I even tried a couple of metres free diving with these and the mask held in place, would highly recommend this set. Oh one more thing, I had sore feet for two days and it wasn't until my manta ray trip I realised I had left the fin removable plastic guards in! Doh, on removal it was hundreds of times more comfortable.

Value for money

This is a good value beginners set; I found that the fins and mask were particularly good and used for several hours a day every day during my recent trip to the Maldives - I even used the mask when I did a 12m Scuba Dive and it performed well. But I found the performance of the snorkel to be inconsistent. I spent a lot of time endlessly having to resurface to blow water out as after a few breaths in, it was full of water again.I have snorkelled lots of times in the past and have never had this occur so frequently.On a few occasions I was underwater for half an hour at a time, with no issues at all, but most of the time within seconds of lying still face down (so absolutely no splashing), the tube would be inexplicibly full of water again after a few breathes. Even when it did work flawlessly, I was still anticipating it filling with water again.Having read various snorkelling forums, I still can’t work out why I kept getting water inside the snorkel, as the position of the tube and my mouth placement was correct, so I’m left somewhat baffled and wondering if I had a less-than perfect seal somwhere? The two-way valve seemed to work properly, my breathing was gentle and regular and water was not being splashed down the tube, I even turned it around and tried it on both sides of my head to see if that made a difference, but the best I can say is that it’s performance was inconsistent.As a result I’ve decided to invest in a Cressi Alpha Superdry Snorkel that I will continue to use with my existing Two Bare Feet fins and mask.

Arrived quickly and well packaged in a bag to hold it all. Fitted young teenage son perfectly.

Arrived in handy mesh bag with shoulder strap and velcro fastening.Items adjustable, lightweight and comfortable to use.My only concern was the speed with which the mask fogged up. Could this be due to the thickness/type of sillicone used for the contoured nose and faceguard?NB. The snorkel is not suitable for a small mouth with developing teeth as it is too large and not pliable enough.Excellent for my 11 yr old.
