I must say for the price I wasn’t expecting anything great and yes it’s made in china but I wasn’t expecting it to sound this awsome I put through my blackstar ht 5 mini stack amp wit my Washburn hb 35 and wow I was blown away the bluesy sound is pretty damn fantastic tbh I’m looking forward to putting my American vintage 57 11 fender Stratocaster and my American performer single hum telecaster through it bet it will sound even better I’m made up with this purchase great little pedal sounds amazing fo the price punching way above its value I don’t see how anyone could not like this groovy little pedal I highly recommend it great sound and a great price unless your a bias tech snob that only th best but I’d put this up against most pedals cheaper is sometimes better slot of cheaper guitars are actually better than top of the range budget guitar companies have realy upt their game my hollow body is a Washburn hb 35 500 new I got mine a for 299 pound uk cash converter I was down away with how good it sounds it a highly regarded quality gig worthy bugle version of the Gibson es 335 once you adjust the volume and tone pots the settings are on google for optimal sound it’s beautiful sounding clean not noisy just a great looking and sounding guitar and ver sought after especially via sweet water guitars it’s the main seller for Washburn guitars I their site so it just goes to show cheaper is better sometimes

How do they do it? Such great pedals, yet such good value for money. This is another of the seven Donner pedals I have on my board, and i love it! It's a great sounding pedal, without ever getting shrill, like several overdrive pedals do? It adds grit and drive to your tone, but in a subtle and musical way, and really does sound especially good on Blues material. Absolutely wonderful little pedal - effective, space-saving, great value for money, and a pedal which will really make a difference to your tone! Love it! Mac

Have to say for the price I am very impressed! I was a bit skeptical about this but after plugging it in its a great little pedal. I love my amps clean sound but not the overdrive and this fits in well for the garage/blues sort of sound I was trying to achieve. The warm signal is lacking bass as other reviewers have mentioned but the hot tone is spot on for my needs. The pedal offers slight overdrive to quite a bit of distortion its certainly not a high gain pedal but surprising what you can get out of it. The construction seems good, nice sturdy case, now the question is will it hold up over time!

Beautiful tones

It will give you some more gain options and obviously level control. Tone dial can be used to brighten up or dampen the mids and highs a little. At 11 o'clock ish on the dial it just about offers a clean boost. It's a little noisy. Nothing special for an overdrive and OK for the price.

I needed a cheap overdrive to put some guitar down on a few demos, watched a few reviews and went for the Donner. It's exactly right for what I needed, a tubey, bluesy OD. It's solidly built, with a tiny footprint and sounds great. It's pretty quiet in terms of unwanted noise, even when you crank the gain up, and there's plenty of gain on tap. It's possible to push beyond overdrive into full-on fuzz territory should you wish. Additionally I've found it works pretty well on bass too, for a Big Muff type fuzz without losing much bottom end grunt.

Only one effect in use. You can not blend them. You can not not change them with your foot. But most of the effects sounds good for the price. Well built.
