Pure Encapsulations Ascorbyl Palmitate, 180 Capsules

Works well for me. I have CIRS and was reacting to all other forms of Vit C. This brand and type I can take with no issues. I open the capsules and dump the supplement contents into my morning shake with my other vitamins. I can’t have the capsules. Def try it.

The consensus on the proper protocol for taking high doses of vitamin C by mouth seems to be balance; that is, taking several forms of high quality ascorbic acid, sodium ascorbate, and ascorbyl palmitate. The latter is fat soluble, and generally a bit more inconvenient to take and hard to find something to dissolve it in if using a powder form. The Pure Encapsulation capsules are convenient and reasonably sized, and can be taken with meals or through the day without regard to a strict schedule. This form of C should not be the sole or even main type in your protocol, but it is excellent to give your program balance and increase the overall bioavailability. It's an excellent product, reasonably priced.

Years ago my doctor suggested that I take this product 9 months out of the year; to help build my immune system. It really worked for me. Last year I thought I could do without the program and I ended up catching a cold every time I went out in public, so I am back on the program that the doctor gave me. It has helped me. I would suggest that anyone that would like to take this product should first consult their doctor, as it is a strong product that should only be used under your doctors care.

I like to take this with my iron so it gets absorbed. No complaints

Taking this nonacidic form of vitamin C allows me to take the higher levels of C I need for my urea-cycle disorder. And, since malabsorption is a problem with me, the fat-soluble nature of Ascorbyl Palmitate allows more of the C to get into my system.

I've had this product before. My doctor recommended it and that's why I take it. My M.D. only recommends the best products. Also, I'm low iron and take iron supplements daily. Iron tends to constipate u and Vit C tends to give u loose stools. Vit C and iron complement each other. U absorb more of both when u take them together! That's a fact and u can look it up online...

The name is "pure" but so is this Vitamin C compound. I am impressed by the purity of this specific Vitamin C compound. Except for the "palmitate" component there is absolutely not a microgram of any impurities in these capsules. They are well worth the price.
