Weight Lifting Gym Gloves with Wrist Support, Soft Leather - Black

TL;DR - As the review title says, these are decent gloves! They almost lasted a year of every day, multiple-hours-per-day training. Would recommend them if the below points mentioned don't phase you. Personally I have switched to others ones, though mainly to explore the market a bit. Purpose - I've used them mainly for heavy lifting and similarly glove-straining push/pull exercises. I normally took them off when doing any calisthenics; for some reason they just didn't feel nice when doing flags or other control/rip heavy moves. They were however fine for basic pull-up exercises. Build - The gloves have decent padding and stitching, though after a few months the stitching around the fingers started to slowly unravel. Their grip is excellent for push exercises, but on some heavier pull exercises they'd start to slip. The padding is good, but said slipping still made it so that they couldn't entirely prevent calluses from forming. The gloves offer pretty decent wrist support. Around half a year in, the (fairly elastic) band stretched too much, so that the 'Velcro' parts ended up misaligned. This resulted in the band not being able to stay put/tight properly anymore. Update 1 - Roughly 60 days of 2 hour training sessions later, these gloves are starting to show wear. The stitching on the right glove (in the curve between the thumb and the index finger) is starting to let go, but it's nothing too dramatic. There's a small tear on the same hand between the index- and middle finger. Neither are getting worse, so I'll just take it as an indicator I should use my left hand a bit more :o) My recommendation stands! These still fit wonderfully. Update 2 - Roughly 80 days in and the stitching is starting to let go on both gloves, causing holes near both thumbs and between the index- and middle finger. On of the padding stitches has also started to let go, revealing the white padding inside, which I could basically pull out right now. I'm still positively surprised, because I do put them under a lot of stress. I'm not done with them yet. I like to wear gloves until they start to lose their function, which is far from the case. Nobody is looking at how pretty your gloves are ;)

I purchased these gloves as I had started back at the gym and could not locate my old pair. These gloves are very comfy and mold to your hands after a few sessions, making the fit even more comfortable. The quality of the gloves for the price is amazing - I intended to buy these as a stop gap until I could purchase a more expensive pair but the gloves have proved to be perfect for my gym needs. These gloves will help you lift that 2kg - 4kg more from the off as they stop the rubbing of dumbbells, bar bells and other equipment against your hands and provide you with a increased grip. I like the extra long straps that double up around your wrists as they provide stability to your wrists when lifting, this is something that I have not had on previous gloves and would expect from a more expensive item. I wholly recommend these gloves. They are a quick win, instant increased grip and control, they feel just right and help to stabilise your wrists, they look the part in the gym arena and the price is amazing. Look no further for gloves. I purchased these as my old gloves were wearing a bit thin and needed to be replaced. I chose these gloves as they are fuller than my last ones and with the wrist straps which wrap around I thought they would give me some extra support on my wrists. They arrived quickly with Amazon, well packaged as normal. On opening them I was pleased with my purchase, the leather of the gloves is soft as described and the stitching and general construction is well manufactured. I purchased a medium size which initially I was worried about as the gloves were a tight fit initially but the more I have worn them they have stretched a little and now are a really good fit. I like the way the fingers have some additional flexibility sewn into the sides which helps when gripping weight bars. The only thing which stopped me giving 5 stars it the fact that I am finding them not that breathable and after an hour of wearing them in the gym they make my hands quite sweaty. But overall they are a very good pair of gloves and I am very pleased with them

Ordered these after having sizing issues with a different style of glove. They fit perfectly. I ordered XL and have moderately large male hands. They are comfortable and the wrap around wrist strap provides a little support and is very comfortable. They seem well made and are showing no signs of wear after a week of heavy lifting each morning in the gym. They have no odour at this time though I would expect that inevitably they will eventually. I can't say how well they respond to laundering as I haven't done that yet. Overall I'd say a very good quality pair of gloves ideal for serious weight-lifting / body-building in the gym. Update 29-Aug-2017: I used these gloves four days a week for a little over a month and they got pretty sweaty and to the point where they really needed to be laundered. So I put them in a 60 degree colour wash. Big mistake! The black dye used in them ruined several garments in the same wash. After drying in the tumble dryer, I put a hand in a slightly damp glove and it came out totally black and inked! It was shocking how much black mess there was inside the glove. Also, the previously elasticated wrist band was now shredded and falling to bits. So the gloves are totally ruined. Sadly this means that while they are initially great, I cannot recommend them since they absolutely DO need to be washed eventually and this seems to be impossible.

I'd never used weightlifting gloves before buying these, but after tearing my hands to shreds for the umpteenth time on a relatively low weight, I decided to give these a go. As with many gym accessories, I assumed the price points would be quite high, so I opted for these thinking I'd see how the style suited before going on to something that cost more and would (presumably) be better. As it is, I don't think I'll be needing to buy another pair. Not only do the Elite gloves do a fantastic job at protecting the skin of the hands, but the velcro wrist straps - which I assumed would be next to useless when it came to the pressure exerted while doing the big lifts - are fantastic. I've got naturally very small wrists, and a pre-existing condition with my ligaments meant that in the past I'd really struggled with certain lifts, particularly bench press, where my wrists would give up long before the muscle groups I was actually working would. These straps have been little short of a revelation, securing my wrists tightly but without feeling restrictive. Undoubtedly there's a psychological boost that comes from the added confidence in my wrists, but the straps themselves work wonders. While I appreciate that there exists something of a stigma around gloves, particularly in heavy-lifting circles, I'd highly recommend that anyone not investing in a pair swallow their pride and get a pair - after all, being barehanded is nothing compared to adding 10kg to your lifts overnight.

I have used many brands of gloves ranging from: RDX, Nano Hertz, Trideer, Steel Sweat, Corezone and many more. NONE of them brands above are on the same level as these gloves. These gloves are very soft but strong at the same time. The leather is a bonus as it ensures that the gloves can handle the constant wear and tear of lifting with an Olympic weightlifting bar and dumbbells. The mesh material on the gloves is great as it allows your hands to "breathe". And to top it off, there is an in-built elasticated wrist support. This is great for Push workouts involving shoulder presses, bench pressing etc. Granted it is not better than your standalone wrist supports, but it is a nice thing to have. IMPORTANT POINT: Order the gloves ONE SIZE bigger than usual. I normally wear medium sized gloves but they were too small, Large fit perfectly for me.

Très bon gants pour la musculation, très robuste tienne bien la main et englobe bien les doigts, ce qui fait défaut sur certaine paire a recommander.

Seit über 6 Monaten 3-4x wöchentlich beim Kraftraining in Gebrauch und es gibt noch kaum Gebrauchsspuren. Keine Risse im Stoff und der Klettverschluss hält auch noch wie am ersten Tag. Gute Verarbeitung.

Vorab: Hatte vorher schon einige Handschuhe von Olimp Mr. Muscle etc. Dies sind die einzigen die ich bisher hatte, die bei erster Verwendung nicht abgefärbt haben. Gute Qualität, Sie riechen nicht, nur wenn man direkt an den Handschuhen riecht ganz leicht nach Leder. Die Handschuhe sind an den Flächen leicht gepolstert. Diese Polsterung ist wie bei allen Handschuhe sehr schnell "platt" also nicht mehr weich. Das macht aber nichts, das Leder selbst ist weich genug. Die Bandagen sind ausreichend stabil, jedoch nicht mit reinen Baumwolle Gelenkbandagen zu vergleichen (müsste klar sein) Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Jeder der nach neuen Handschuhen sucht und vorher abfärbende oder stinkende hat wird zufrieden sein. Die Größe war bei mir wie auch bei allen Herstellern zuvor L, somit keine Besonderheiten hier !

Tenía dudas de qué talla comprar y al final, calculando, compré la L para mi esposo, que tiene las manos de tamaño normal, ni toscas ni pequeñas, normales...(pongo foto) y le quedan muy bien, en calidad les doy un 10/10, muy buena, bien hechos, cómodos para coger las pesas, acolchados en las palmas, fuertes en las muñecas (tiene una banda larga que da como dos vueltas en la muñeca), hay videos en youtube enseñándolos en detalles y hablando bien de ellos. Los recomiendo 100% para el gym, yo los he usado también y me gustan mucho, aunque me quedan grandes, claro. Lo mejor, el precio que tienen. Nunca hablo de Amazon, pero el servicio siempre siempre es genial y he comprado montones de cosas ya, incluso en otros países.
