I've had them for years now - possibly 8, and the original is only just starting to get a bit tatty. I'm using them for plastic model making, so they get immersed in acrylic as well as enamel paints, and cleaned with harsh thinners, but they never quit. Just make sure you give them a deep clean every now and then, keep the tip at a point and never swish the bristles on the bottom of the water jar - this kills paint brushes of any quality.
