PRO SHARP TAPE

I’m currently decorating my lounge. Ordinarily I would be replacing the carpet on any room I’m decorating but in this case I’m not so I needed a way to protect it when painting my skirting boards. This is a medium tack tape especially for textured surfaces so I was hopeful it would stick to my carpet. It worked perfectly. It was strong enough that I could ease it down between the carpet and skirting board using the decorators blade shown in my photo but you could use a scraper. It tears by hand and is quite malleable and it’s strong too and nice and wide. I’ve since painted my skirting boards and got no paint on the carpet. I see that people had used this on newly painted walls and it pulled off the paint. Personally I won’t be using this in that way . I prefer to use a low tack tape not medium tack but the full info on this product does say to scour the tape before removing it from walls so that might help with this. I cannot confirm if that would be the case as I haven’t used it that way. The tape I’ve got left will be very useful for my art projects. Great for keeping tracing paper in place whilst preparing patterns for pyrography…I have tested this and it’s fab. It peels off the tracing paper without ripping it. So in conclusion this tape was fantastic for my needs and I’d definitely use it again. Good value for money as it goes a long way.

Useful for making larger stencils (for ceramics). No complaints.

Satisfied with the product. Slight leakage occurred when the paint was too watery, but it works well when the paint is at the right consistency. It caused no damage when carefully removed. Overall, I can recommend it as a good product worth the price.

good thickness, easy to use, tape sticks well, covers well, is a very useful size, no bleeding, people like the colour too

Best masking tape I've ever used. Good strong tape but tears easily by hand when you want to pull off into strips. Left on for a four weeks ( slow worker!) and pulls off easily without leaving any adhesive or ripping the paint edge.

an amateurs dream! will give you clean lines every time and is easy to remove. I've used conventional masking tape before but this is next level!

Easy to use and a necessity for me when taping up prior to spraying . Good size roll , easily applied and decent value for money , but a little expensive I believe for what you get

Great painters tape, this is the only one I will use (wither sharp or ultra sharp lines). Tape has dozens of uses, in my home we use it to tape off art paper to sketch boards for drawing or watercolor, to temporarily adhere templates in the shop (look up the blue tape superglue trick), to cover portions of a project I don't want damaged in the shop, as a base on my workbench to mix epoxy, and of course to tape off trim when painting a room. I have tried many types of painters tape over the years and this has the best balance as far as adhesion, removability, and prevention of bleed through.
