Remington iLight Pro IPL Laser Hair Removal Machine, Permanent Results In Just Three Treatments, IPL6500

I'm really pleased with my purchase and the results so far after just 3 treatments have been superb. It isn't at all painful and whilst a little time consuming on larger areas such as legs, it is definitely worth the effort.If you use the hold down function, so it flashes automatically, I found this saves quite a lot of time (and effort!) and is great for legs.This device is well worth the money, easy to use and has great results. No more waxing or shaving this summer. Thank you very much!

This is a great device! I have had several courses of salon Ipl and the cost is considerable. Plus they always seem to miss bits. So I did my online research, saw what good reviews this device has, and took the plunge. With a couple of caveats, I am really impressed!My main reservation would be that this machine is not as powerful as Salon Ipl machines. Health and safety, lowest common denominator and all that... Having briefly flirted with the lower settings, I ramped it straight up to power five and I generally zap each individual area a minimum of twice and sometimes three times before moving on . Please note, that is NOT a recommendation, you should follow the instructions, I am just telling you my experience. That said, it is really effective, and hair is either very slow to regrow and considerably finer or just gone ( at least for six months which is how long I have had the device) after about three treatments. I am looking forward to the summer with hairless legs!Second caveat - the safety mechanism can make it a little tricky to treat areas such as ankles which have less broad flat area to press on both sides of the window.The heavyweight cord can get in the way a little bit as you try to reach awkward places, but that's really a minor niggle. And of course, you need to have lightish coloured skin and darkish coloured hair for it to work as the heat follows the pigment in the hair .Overall, I think this is a fabulous device which I would highly recommendUpdate Feb 2017Coming back to my initial review to say the results have stood the test of time. Having neglected my legs utterly since September I "tidied up" yesterday and that was a total of a dozen or so hairs over 2 legs, all very fine and most hardly visible (but I'm fussy). I probably didn't zap those ones enough in the first place or they were resistant. Other areas similarly improved. To put some context, I am naturally dark blonde, so I did not have the absolute strongest or darkest hair you get, and it may take others more sessions to get the same results, but I am truly impressed with how quick and easy it was to be rid of the "hair problem" forever . The machine isn't cheap, but for me it was truly worth it.

I purchased this for my wife, thinking it would end up discarded like so many other gadgets bought over the years but this was the exception.In previous years we've had to borrow the neighbours strimmer to get my beloved 'swimsuit ready' but a few uses of this godsend have had amazing results. This device has revealed my better half's 'inner woman' as well as the location of the sky remote and a tricycle DS lost a decade ago.The confidence this has given my wife is incredible. The ever present leggings or jeans have given way to skirts and we can take country walks without fear of hunters mistaking her for Bigfoot.This has already paid for itself with the reduction of 'borrowed' razors that I've only been told about after slicing open an artery.

This is the second Remington iLight Pro that I have had from Amazon, the first one was returned after owning for a short period of time as the light would not recognise my skin.This was a replacement item, after using approx 10-12 times the unit is just one year old and yet again I am having the same problem. The light just does not recognise my arm or wrist when placed over the lighting mechanism to activate the unit to start the laser treatment. I have not changed my skin or body therefore there is no reason whatsover that this unit should yet again stop working! For the price I am very very disappointed with it. At a price of £250 you expect the item to last for more than one year and at least more than 10-12 times usage. I have not used the unit since July 17, therefore it is 8 months old really once it has stopped working. I would require a replacement!"Remington IPL6500 iLight Pro Hair Removal Device

Only used it a few times so far, and it does what it says and deserves the 5 star rating. I have used it on my face and legs and most of the hair did not re-grow after the first time. However, as probably with all IPL hair removal systems, the pain I felt depended not only on the machine setting but the thickness of the hair: the thicker the hair, the more the pain, such that you can't help but scream fxxx when you use it on a thick hair. I would recommend this machine to everybody, especially considering the price. I managed to get mine for half price at Amazon which was £150. I know women who have spent thousands of pounds on having hair removed from just their face by going to professionals, (whether by laser hair removal or electrolysis), but with this machine, for about £150, you can do your whole body, and also let friends/relatives use.I remember decades ago, when Victor Kyam said that he liked the Remington Electric Shaver so much, he bought the Company: unfortunately, I do not have the money to buy the Company, otherwise, I would.PS: this machine has a facial attachment, however, I use the body one on my face and it does not do any harm: hence, for those who want a cheaper version, get the IPL6250 machine and use the body attachment on your face as well.

Ho letto molte risposte e pareri discordanti su questo prodotto, soprattutto per quanto riguarda l'utilizzo da parte degli uomini. Ho deciso quindi di acquistarlo e provarlo sulla mia pelle. Pratico sport, bici e palestra e per me i peli sono molto fastidiosi, ho sempre utilizzato rasoi e lamette però mi causavano problemi di irritazioni e peli incarniti. Ho deciso quindi di provare con l'epilazione laser. Premetto che ho una pelle molto chiara e i peli scuri, ma non foltissimi, La zona in cui si concentrano maggiormente sono le gambe. Diciamo una peluria media. Ho effettuato un solo trattamento completo, più due o tre trattamenti localizzati, cioè ripassando le zone in cui i peli continuavano a crescere. Il prodotto è senza dubbio molto valido. Praticamente bisogna prima rasare i peli con la lametta, quindi a pelle, se si lascia il pelo lungo si rischia di bruciare la pelle in superficie, dato che il pelo irradiato dalla luce laser si scalda e diviene incandescente, al punto di bruciare la superficie della pelle. Rasando prima la pelle con la lametta invece si va a colpire solo la parte sottostante, cioè il bulbo del pelo. Dopo il trattamento la pelle risulta un po' arrossata. Si creano macchioline rosse intorno ai pori piliferi, soprattutto nelle zone delicate come pancia, addome, interno coscia, cosce e soprattutto per noi uomini che abbiamo i peli più spessi e folti. Ma il rossore tende a sparire nei giorni successivi. Al primo trattamento ho fatto l'errore di lasciare i peli a due tre millimetri di lunghezza e mi sono causato un po' di scottature sulla pancia. Comunque scomparse nel giro di qualche giorno. Quindi consiglio di rasare a pelle. Io consiglio di usare una buona crema idratante e lenitiva dopo il trattamento (ne uso una alla calendula, molto buona). Ecco come funziona l'apparecchio: per chi pensa che i peli spariscano con una passata NO, non è questo il meccanismo di azione. Praticamente il bulbo pilifero viene colpito dalla luce laser, che causa un surriscaldamento dello stesso. Una volta che la radice è stata colpita dal laser, sembrerà che il pelo continui a crescere, avrà l'aspetto di un puntino nero sbruciacchiato, ma noterete che cresce molto lentamente, finché non uscirà fuori dal poro e cadrà, se provate a estrarlo voi con una pinzetta o con le dita noterete che il pelo è in realtà morto, e si estrarrà con estrema facilità, in quanto in realtà è già staccato, semplicemente rimane infilato nel poro della pelle in attesa di cadere. Spero di essermi spiegato. Dal momento che si distacca non crescerà più. Infatti anche dal disegno che troverete sulla scatola del prodotto vedrete illustrate proprio queste tre fasi: il pelo viene trattato col laser, il pelo continua a crescere per un po', dopodiché il pelo si stacca. Nel libretto non è ben spiegato questo meccanismo ma è facilmente intuibile dall'illustrazione. Ecco perché è importante che seguiate le istruzioni alla lettera e non facciate di testa vostra. Nelle istruzioni c'è scritto di aspettare 15 giorni tra un trattamento e l'altro proprio per questo motivo, bisogna dare tempo ai peli trattati con la luce laser di completare il loro ciclo vitale e poi si distacchino, dopodiché potrete effettuare un nuovo trattamento sui peli "sopravvissuti" al trattamento precedente. Ovviamente non tutti i peli moriranno subito, diciamo che si riesce ad eliminarne una buona percentuale ad ogni trattamento. Io mi ritengo fortunato, al primo trattamento ho già eliminato un buon 60-70% dei peli. Questo dipende dal tipo di pelle e dalla pigmentazione del pelo. Più è scuro e meglio è. Ho notato che i peli più sottili e più chiari sono più difficili da eliminare, richiedono più trattamenti. Al momento ho trattato le gambe, braccia, addome, mani, interno delle cosce con ottimi risultati. Non sto usando più ne rasoi ne altri metodi di depilazione, i peli stanno mano a mano scomparendo e quelli che ancora non si sono staccati crescono molto lentamente e sono molto sottili. Ci vuole un po' di pazienza per effettuare i trattamenti, soprattutto i primi, ma ne vale la pena. Lo consiglio veramente a tutti, sportivi e non. Ah ho dimenticato di dire una cosa: Attenzione a NEI e TATUAGGI!!! Io ho un tatuaggio sull'addome, ho colpito per sbaglio un angolo del disegno causando una piccola scottatura. Non trattate le zone tatuate o isolatele con qualcosa di bianco, una matita coprente o un cartoncino bianco, mantenendo sempre qualche millimetro di distanza dalla testina del laser.

Deutlich wirksamer als der Vorgänger. Nachdem die Lampe des Vorgänger Modelles das zeitliche gesegnet hatte, stellte sich die Frage, ob neue Lampe oder neues Gerät. Nach Kostenüberblick gewann das neue Modell. Und was soll ich sagen? Ich bin begeistert. Bereits nach der 2 Anwendung fiehlen die ersten ungeliebten Gesichtshaare aus. Das, was also immer versprochen wurde. Und bis dato nie ein Gerät geschafft hat, schafft diese Modell. Ich bin begeistert. Und wirklich froh, denn keine Frau wünscht sich einen Damenbart! ;) Zumindest nicht ohne in einem Kuriositäten Kabinett zu arbeiten...

Easy to use - but not sure it's doing much. I don't know if my hair is too light, or if I'm not doing enough sessions, but not seeing dramatic differences.

Es perfecta. Muy fácil de usar y es bastante rápida. Los resultados son visibles rápidamente. No duele nada, en alguna zona si noto el disparo pero mucho menos de lo que noté en centros profesionales. El resultado para mi es casi parecido que en el centro, quizás alguna zona se resiste un poco más, pero bueno, un par de sesiones más y listo. Al igual que en el centro, tras la primera sesión el pelo crece más lento y también se cae. Es lo mismo pero en casa. Lo volvería a comprar, no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho, sino de no haberlo comprado antes.

ILIGHT arbeitet mit 100.000 Lichtimpulsen (diverse Geräte der Mitbewerber bieten teilweise sogar die doppelte Anzahl an).Die Wirkungsweise ist wie folgt: Es werden Lichtimpulse auf die Haut abgegeben, die unter die Haut dringen und das Haar an der Wurzel angreifen, wodurch das Wachstum der Haare beeinflusst, verzögert oder verhindert werden soll. Eine ähnliche Behandlungsart wird auch in professionellen Kosmetikstudios angeboten. Der Hautsensor scannt die Haut und die Freigabe für den Lichtblitz erfolgt nur bei geeignetem Hautton. Zusätzlich sorgt ein Hautkontakt-Sensor dafür, dass der Lichtimpuls nur abgeben wird, wenn beide Sensoren auf der Haut aufliegen. Der Impulsschalter auf dem Handstück dient der Aktivierung des Blitzes.Das Gerät ist nicht für dunkle Haut geeignet. Zwar werden gerade dunkle Haare sehr gut entfernt, da der Lichtimpuls besonders auf dunkle Färbung ausgerichtet ist, jedoch kann dunkle Haut so auch Schaden nehmen.Vor jeder Behandlung sollten die Haare gründlich rasiert und die Haut gereinigt und getrocknet werden. Das erspart bei der Behandlung eventuell auftretende Schmerzen und ein Verbrennungseffekt wird vermieden.Wie schnell man gute Erbebnise erzielt ist sehr individuell und es bedarf auf jeden Fall einige Sitzungen, also auch Zeit und Geduld. Mit der Zeit werden die Behandlungsintervalle seltener, und die Haare heller und dünner.Ich habe für mein persönliches Ziel circa 10 Wochen, also 10 Anwendungen gebraucht. Jetzt bin ich sehr zufrieden, die Beinbehaarung ist so gut wie weg (ich bin hellhäutig und meine Behaarung war nicht besonders stark ausgeprägt). Früher habe ich mir die Beine jenen zweiten Tag klassisch unter der Dusche rasiert, inzwischen muss ich nur noch alle 2 Woche mein iLight-Gerät benutzen. Das ist eine enorme Zeitersparnis und die Haut ist danach schön glatt.Am Anfang musste ich natürlich die Handhabung trainieren und da das Gerät nicht schnurlos anwendbar ist, ist man schon relativ "gebunden", eine Steckdose muss in der Nähe sein. Das Handstück ist ziemlich gross (grösser als alle Epilierer, die ich bis jetzt verwendet habe) und nicht ergonomisch geformt. Insgesamt könnte es besser in der Hand liegen, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell an die Form.In den ersten zwei Wochen hatte ich eine leichte Hautrötung nach der Behandlung, obwohl ich mit Intensität 2 von 5 angefangen habe. Höchstwahrscheinlich war das nur eine leichte Hautverbrennung, weil ich die gleiche Hautpartie doppelt erwischt habe. Inzwischen klappt die Prozedur tadellos und nahezu schmerzfrei. Ich brauche pro Bein ca 8 Minuten, pro Achsel 4 Minuten.Die Bedienung des Gerätes ist sehr einfach, jedoch sollte man sich zuvor die Anleitung genau durchlesen. Zu beachten sind insbesondere die folgenden Ausschlüsse ber der Benutzung des Remington iLIGHT: Nicht auf Genitalen, Brustwarzen, Tätowierungen, dunklen Hautflecken, Muttermalen oder verletzter Haut anwenden, nicht nach dem Sonnenbaden benutzen, etc.. Die Liste ist recht lang und hinterlässt schon ein mulmiges Gefühl.Fazit: Wer nicht gerne jeden Tag die Haare rasieren möchte, findet in dem Remington IPL6500 iLight eine gute Alternative. Natürlich sind die Anschaffungskosten relativ hoch, aber im Vergleich zu professionellen Enthaarungen in Kosmetikstudios oder beim Dermatologen macht sich das Gerät schnell bezahlt.
