Si cumple
Cumple con lo prometido, funciona muy bien con los debidos cuidados de alta temperatura, el café queda bien tostado dejándolo unos segundos más después del primer crack. Realmente me sorprendió. Recomendación aplicar el café cuando ya esté bien caliente la tostadora, y dejar la llama a tope hasta el crack.

Works OK a wok works better
This roaster works OK with about 160 -170 grams of beans in it. However, I'm roasting outside on 30,000 BTU camp stove. I typically roast to "first crack" and I find I get much better temperature control and just as even roasting in a wok. Plus I can roast a whole pound at a time this way.BTW - The first one arrived with one of the nuts/bolts missing that supported the upright - Sent back crap Chinese quality control

Surprisingly good for the price
I love this contraption! It's not exactly expensive or complicated, but that means that this roaster will function indefinitely and there are few things that can go wrong.Negatives:- This does require some basic assembly, no tools required. Make sure that you put the lock washer on the nut that holds the crank handle, or else it'll loosen each time you rotate the basket.- The basket can be a little tricky to align and reattach with the base unit.- This also requires an open flame of some kind.- The design looks like it was assembled from parts you would find in a hardware store.- Turning the basket can get a little tedious.- There is no mechanism for collecting the chaff, so the cleanup can be messy.- The unit gets very hot, so it can be difficult to open the door immediately after using the unit. You will either need a fan to cool it off, or you will need tongs or gloves.Positives:- You can use an alcohol or propane burner, so you have considerable flexibility.- It also doesn't weigh much, and it can be packed small for camping trips.- This is perfect for small batches.- The baffles in the basket provide for an even roast, and it's easy to see the color of the beans throughout the process.- This thing is indestructible and replacement parts can be found at a hardware store.Summary:If you want good coffee, you don't want to invest too much money, and you don't mind turning a crank for 10 minutes, this is for you. If you don't have a burner, I highly recommend that you invest in a Trangia stove or similar alcohol burner. It burns with a clean flame that won't impart weird flavors or toxic chemicals into your coffee, and it won't kill you if you use it indoors with ventilation.

Small
It is very small. I wish it was 12 inches bigger. And needs a wooden and longer handle. Love the way it turns without being fancy. If you decide to make a bigger one please reach out to me to review. I am roasting coffee for craft shows.
