Excellent product, as caulk filler and for soundproofing qualities. Easier to work with than other decorators caulk. Easier to clean off too 👍 The large tube makes for great value but ensure you have a suitable gun for it - it’s a much wider diameter so normal silicone guns won’t fit

Arrived promptly and well packaged but not excessively so. Easy to use - make sure you have a large caulking gun - filled floorboard gaps ahead of soundproofing. Added bonus of helping to seal against drafts very happy with this product.

Does exactly what it says it does. The two main properties of this sealant are acoustic and intumescent. This is ideal if you are applying sound proofing for example, particularly where you are sticking acoustic plaster board to the wall or some similar set up. In such case the acoustic plasterboard needs to be independent of the other walls and ceiling/floor, and you achieve this by leaving a small gap around the edge. This gap can be filled with this kind of sealant. I've also used it to plug gaps where sound gets through such as around the edge of plug sockets, or wide gaps in floor boards etc. Also around the edge of laminate flooring before the skirting board or scotia beading is placed over it. It's very very versatile. Intumescent simply means that this product is rated to withstand fire for a period of time. Instead of burning or giving off toxic fumes it will turn black and expand. Note: This is a large size. A much bigger size than the standard size sealant tubes you can buy, so you'll need a bigger gun to use it.

First one was totally crushed, so returned it. Second one received today, again, crushed tube and useless. I will have to cut open the tube and apply with a palette knife. Obviously won't buy again.

Does what you want but I didn’t expect it to be a huge one so had to improvise.

Excellent for use in sealing plasterboard joins where acoustic blocking is required. Only negative issie was the packaging, having a pointed end each deliver had burst out of the packaging, one delivery contained out items which were lost. Also on both occasions the cardboard tube of some the AC95 tubes were damaged which caused the contents to pass behind the main plunger covering the application gun and wasting a fair amout of product, otherwise most excellent

Genuine product but both packs were damaged, making them almost unusable

Great product just didnt realise these were the big tubes and dont fit a normal gun. Product seals up nicely
