There are 600 components in the kit which will increase if you purchase additional aircraft.PE refers to photo etched parts.

No. The aircraft lifts can be fixed in either the up or down position but do not move. The only free parts are the aircraft themselves.

Ensign models is the best quality or for this model they also do it for the aircraft. Also a decal kit for the bridge tower was available on eBay shipped from China ok quality. You won't find any flight deck decals you'll need plenty of tamiya maskink tape and lots of patients. I got good results with my airbrush

is the hull in one piece or two ?

the hull is in 2 pieces the bow and rest of the hull there is two screws in the box to reinforce the 2 parts
