Really good value for money would definitely recommend 10 stars
Absolutely brilliant just what I needed. Really good value for money would definitely recommend. Next day delivery what money can you complain about. Really good value for money a lot cheaper than the other shops so I’ve got no complaints.

Can be fitted directly to the wall or a 1gang back box - but does not come with electrical screws!!
Does the job well and is very cheap as an add-on item. The brushplate comes with 2 Philips Head screws to allow you to connect it directly to the wall without the need for a back box but it doesn't come with any electrical screws to connect to the back box.Obviously it isn't MK quality but for the price you will not be disappointed. It is certainly a vast improvement on a hole in the wall and certainly makes the job look more professional. Its not the thickest and could be prone to snapping if over tightened.All-in-all I was impressed enough that I bought another so can recommend this product.

Does the job
I've used socket backplates (e.g. HDMI) before and found them expensive, and if there are a number of cables then quite possibly ending up with a proliferation of such plates. These brush plates solve both problems, they are fairly cheap, allow for a number of cables to emerge from the same area, and look pretty neat. Will be using these as first choice in the future.

Wrong one delivered initially but very much resolved
This review is two fold. The product - the Philex product has a good finish to it and does just the job I was looking for.The seller - Initially I received am item that was unbranded and did not match the picture in anyway. After conversation with the seller they advised I had received the wrong product and subsequently resent the right replacements without me needing to return the originals. So excelent post customer service. The only footnote is that I then ordered a 3rd one and this too arrived as the lessor unbranded version though it too has been replaced with the correct version......

Perfect size
Fits multiple cables and the soft brush bristles hide the hole in the wall really well. Fitted correctly, this will make your fitment look really neat and tidy. You need some knowledge of DIY but overall quite easy to fit.

As described and shown in the photo (9Dec2019), but doesn't sit flush on our plastic patress box
There are reviews saying it is brittle, and reviews saying it is bendable. There are reviews saying it is blocky and others saying it came with wood screws. My experience (9th Dec 2019) was that it looked exactly like the photo and came with the usual type of screws to fit a pattress box. From examining it closely I have to agree that it could prove to be brittle if you distorted it a lot, and it can be flexed using your fingers, but in normal use (like screwing it into a pattress box) I don't expect a problem. It is slightly creamier than our light switches and power sockets, but at £1.99 we shouldn't be expecting MK quality! However, the problem I do have is that it has little nibs on the back which sit against the plastic surround of our plastic patress boxes (flush mount type). See photos. It will be fine when I have filed the nibs off! I guess they might sit inside a different design of pattress box (metal, or surface mount) and may make it line up nicely, but I haven't checked this.

Do the job OK
Looked great... But.. The don't fit flush to wall... There are about 6 plastic tabs on back of plate.. They need trimmed off with a craft knife to achieve this
