My ghds finally died after about 8 years and I couldn't afford the £300 to replace them so I decided on these because of the affordability, argan infused plates and the ratings.I'm really pleased with them. They are a little wider than the skinny ghds so it's taking me a minute to get used to feel of them but they glide through my hair beautifully (the ghds used to sometimes stick a bit), they create beautiful curls that really hold and they heat up super fast and I love that you don't need them to be really hot to create the waves or lovely straight hair.I definitely recommend them

I wanted a nice easy to use straightener that wasn't too expensive as I'm normally fairly basic with my hair styling. These fit the bill and I absolutely love them. They heat up quickly, are easy to set the desired temperature and leave my hair feeling silky and lovely. My colleagues have been asking if I've been at the hairdresser as my looks so good.

Bought these after my GHDs died a death and I couldn’t justify paying £200+ for new ones. They work really well & are perfect for the price point. The only downside is they take a while to heat up, especially if you’re used to how quick GHDs are. Other than that, I can’t fault them. Also like how you can pick temperate unlike GHDs which are one temp only. Would buy again perfect for the price point!

I was slightly sceptical as I've only used GHD'S. My Ghd's had given up after 10 years. These Remington shine therapy straighteners are fantastic! My hair was so shiny and smooth which lasted all day. My hair can get quite frizzy but these tame that frizziness. Easy to hold, no pressing the on/off button by mistake.Definitely recommend and for the price they are excellent and well worth the purchase.

Better than GHDs I had that just stopped working. Good for taking on weekend breaks as not heavy and cine with a heat mat. Work well heat quickly. Definitely worth the money paid!

The hair straightener is great, and the price was even better. I seen the same one in both Boots and Tesco for approx. 70-100 euro. I bought this for approx 28euro. however, do be careful as a number of weeks after I purchased it they did say it was marked down to the same price I bought it for from 130euro as a 'Black Friday' deal. but i assume that is more Amazon than anything. Other than that it is a great straightener and would buy again if needed to.

Better than GHDS,used GHDS for years, just cudn't afford the price they are now to get a new pair. So decided to try the Rimington wide plate. I was not disappointed, they are first class. Knock spots off GHDS, my hair is very thick and course, so I had my doubts they'd work, but they sure did the job. Left my hair silky soft. I'll use these now, I'd never pay the GHD prices, no need wen you can buy just as good at a reasonable price. Very good, excellent quality, great price. Wots not to like....
