Pricey nougat but great taste.
Great taste, kind of pricey, but worth having it once in awhile.

bland & gummy
I was very disappointed w/ this, especially given the price. It was dreadfully flavorless and the texture is off for turrón . I lived in Spain for a year and have had good turrón and this is not it. Imagine some nuts stuck together with flavorless gum... Add to that how little you get in relation to the size of the box and this is a no buy and is not returnable. Boo hiss!

Favorite Candy, But…
I eat a lot of Torrone candy from different companies. Unfortunately this piece tastes stale & it’s really hard, even though the exp date isn’t until 12/2025. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enough of fanatic about Torrone that I’m still eating it even though it doesn’t taste that great & I’ve got to be careful not to break my teeth. I doubt very much that I’ll buy this brand again. There are better ones out there for sure.

Tasty treat!
Tastes good and I was worried it was going to be stale but not at all! And holds a while if you have it in the fridge. Not too sticky and not to hard. I would say the quality was very good! And fresh.

Disappointed but they can fix it!
Not enough product for the price. 2 bars for $15.00? Also, a little too sweet for my taste. I gave them 2 stars because they are an ok treat (I love nuts) but isn't worth it. I wanted to try some new types of candies but won't buy these again. Like others have commented; I should have read the reviews and looked at the customer photos before purchasing. If they doubled the amount to 4 bars (that would actually fill up the box they come in) and made them a little less sweet, I would buy again if the price was reasonable. Last, inside the box claims they are 'Flown Fresh from Europe' but nowhere on the box does it state the country of origin.

Another Taste Treasure
Torrone is an Italian Nougat Candy that Is absolutely heavenly! It’s a Christmas tradition in our home. It does have nuts should you have an allergy. In most cases, it’s almonds, pistachios, or pineoli nuts. It also has some dried fruits— citrus, cherries, etc… It’s best in small slices as it is quite sweet! If you’ve never tried it, taste what you’ve been missing!

Very good.
If you like sweets, these weren't chewy enough for me but your tastes may differ. A bit costly too bc there isn't much nougat out there to compare.

Should have read the reviews before purchasing.
You only get one nougat in a box that could hold two and for the price you should get at least two. My wife saw this and asked if I would get one for her when our budget could afford it, as she used to get these as a kid in the local stores (I am talking the 1960's). Back then they were soft and chewy and cost less about a dime (even I remember them). But I should have read the reviews and looked at what others had to say. Also should have taken notice of the use of the word "Brittle", normally only time I ever seen that word used is when describing "Peanut Brittle" - don't think there is anything as "Soft Brittle". Soft this nougat is not - nothing like the old days and for two dimes back then it would equal the size of what you get now. So I do not recommend purchasing.
