I absolutely love Willow Tree Figurines, they are just so classy and beautiful. They are so simple in their design, but for me, that is the beauty of them. My cousin Rachael is due to have her new baby very soon, I am usually stumped as to what to buy for gifts, knowing she will probably be overwhelmed with baby clothing and toys for example, I decided on this gorgeous Willow Tree Angel of Mine Figurine which shows a mother cradling a small baby to her chest in a loving way. I am thrilled to bits with the product - it arrived very quickly, is wonderfully packaged in it's Willow Tree designed cardboard box with protective elements inside the box to keep the figure safe. The ornament looks exactly as it does in the image. It is even more stunning in person in fact. I love it and will be buying more for sure! I think it is a wonderful and unique gift idea and one that people will love. I can't wait to see her face when I gift her it!

I used to work in a shop selling these figurines, and I can testify to the appeal and popularity of their unique aesthetic. I understand that the originals from which the figurines are moulded are created in clay, but with a look that makes them appear almost like traditional carved wooden figurines. The figurines all lack faces, but though you'd think that makes them less expressive, the opposite seems to be true. No defined face moves focus to the body language as well as making it easier to imagine the figurine representing someone in particular. A face would detract from the latter effect if it didn't look like the person in question. Some people seem to think these are actually made from wood, and some even think that they cannot break. Of course neither is true: they are cast in some kind of polyester resin that is hard and brittle enough to break if dropped, so the same care as you take with figurines and ornaments made from glass or ceramics is required. I also enjoy the packaging these come in. Perfectly fit styrofoam inserts protect the figurines as well as keeping the boxes nice and giftworthy. Presumably, they still come with a little gift card in the box too that you can use when giving this away to that special person you wish to express something to through these lovely works of art.

While the packaging and delivery was superb, there was only one let down. When I opened to check the angel, I noticed she has a small black/brown mark on the front of her dress. Luckily my fiancé likes to paint figurines, and does so very well. I will get him to cover this up for me as it's a gift for a friend of mines who lost her dog. Apart from that everything else on her was perfect. That's the reason I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. Will more than likely buy from here again though

I love this. I had bought it for a friend who had just lost her little fur baby. She absolutely loved it and loved the meaning behind it.

La figura es preciosa, es triste saber que solo se ve de madera y que en el fondo es de resina y que son bastante delicadas pero sin dudas son muy bellas.

This Willow Tree Angel of Friendship made my mother cry when she opened it. I got it for her as a remembrance piece for her sister & her best dog, Buddy, both of whom passed in May five years apart. It's beautifully made & would make an excellent addition to anyone's Willow Tree collection or as a gift for friendship or a remembrance piece. Arrived in perfect condition. Would definitely purchase again & recommend.
