What is the difference between the cream & the balm?

Hi Tamy, great question! The cream is a rich formula used to treat eczema and itching. The cream contains 66% Avene Thermal Spring Water. The balm is a little thicker and an "ultra-rich" formula used to also treat eczema and itching. However the balm only contains 56% Avene Thermal Spring Water. The products are almost identical in ingredients but the cream is lighter with more of the spring water, and the balm is a heavier/thicker emollient with a little less of the spring water. Am I the only one who can't stand the smell of this moisturizer? That eggy smell is killing me!

I can't stand it either, but it's just the Omega 6. Anything with Omega oil smells like that to me - like raw eggs. Yucky.

However the Avene Antirougeurs Fort Relief Concentrate For Chronic Redness, Avene Antirougeurs Calm Soothing Repair Mask, and the Avene Antirougeurs Redness Relief Dermo-Cleansing Milk are all wonderful for Rosacea.
