Very nice looking kettle bought to replace our old kettle which is no longer available. However, pleased with Russell Hobs, it’s boils the water quickly and is light in weight. Money well spent. Recommended

Bit of a faff to get a full kettle or would be 5*, but great kettle.

Very happy with this kettle. Ignore the reviews that say it’s just like a cheap plastic jug. The thing is it does the job very well, It’s true my first impressions were it looked like a cheap plastic jug. But it’s not really noticeable once in use and it works really well! And definitely works to remove like scale and even fine sediment. And for that reason I love it! I like that it’s clear and you can see the water inside. It boils quickly and is easy to pour from.

Love this kettle, this is my 3rd one now, whenever I need a new kettle I always choose the same, never broken down on me I just like to replace every 8years or so

Useful addition as replacement kettle

This kettle does the job, for the most part, but if I'd realised what the body was made of, or more to the point what it really looked like, I wouldn't have bought it. It's not quite the way it appears in the images – it's translucent white plastic, not as transparent as shown. The fact that it looks cheap and tacky isn't the real issue. It makes it harder to see the water level with smaller volumes of water if you just want to boil one cup. The images show what it looks like with one cup (just over 200 ml) in it, so it's hard to fill the kettle by eye as you could with a truly transparent jug, and you end up filling with the correct volume by pouring from the actual cup. On top of that, condensation coats the interior surface and obscures it further, and it doesn't drain down. You can see the water level once it's boiling, but only from the head-on position because of the curved metal trim on the handle side.. There aren't many small kettles with water filters to choose from, unfortunately, but I needed more room on the work surface, so this kettle was intended to replace a large Cosori kettle and a filter jug. (I still have the Cosori, which is a great kettle, just a bit too big for me now.) This kettle is poorly designed for easy use. After 24 hours of getting more ticked off with it every time, I'm on the verge of returning it and putting up with the reduction in counter space.

Didn’t realise the kettle would be plastic until I received it. There’s a more expensive version with glass. The Brita filter does not fit in as snugly as it should without the risk of breaking the appliance. I use brita filters already and their appliances require you to press the filter in until almost a click, but with this, it’s not strong enough and therefore a good chance water will bypass the filter. Disappointed, I’m sure it’ll work but can’t really see it lasting too long. Better keep the box as I think there’s a 3 year guarantee.

La bouilloire est arrivée avec une prise US non spécifiée dans le descriptif de l'appareil. Pas vraiment honnête de la part du vendeur. Le produit est bien alors allez l'acheter chez un autre vendeur et posé la question du type de prise avant de commander.
