Review: Eczema Sufferers: Look No Further - I have had eczema since I was an early teenager and I have tried every product under the sun to try and rid the rashes and redness associated with it. I have tried everything my GP had to offer; from steroid cream, medical type emollients - creams, shower gels and bath soaks and to be honest they’ve never done much for me. They have at times provided some relief but it has been very temporary and the eczema returns to full force the second I stop using it excessively and constantly. I have also tried things like lush’s dream cream and random products here and there and again they didn’t even make a dent in my eczema. I happened to find myself researching for new things to try as I recently had a worse than normal flare-up which I attribute to the heatwave we’re currently having in the UK and severe hayfever as they are supposedly all linked. I came across this product and I thought I’d give it a shot but I had zero expectation as I’ve tried many products that claim to help and never did anything. I regret totally not reading about natural products for the the skin years ago. I stopped putting normal cream/lotions from the shops on my skin years ago because I was so put off by the chemical ingredients. Hence my skin was so so dry. It's been exposed to the sun (a lot) for years and it is/was deeply deeply scaley, dy and with sun damage. But I still wouldn't put chemical ordinary creams on it. The Shea butter arrived promptly (chosen after reading about it and scrutinising reviews) and I couldn't get the lid off quickly enough. A grainy crumbly 'butter' with a definite smokey (only word I can think to describe it) smell. I'd read that you should get some on your fingers and work it into your hands to melt it and that's precisely what I did. I put it straight onto my legs and arms. (My legs were SO dry and my arms too.) Two days later and my skin is so improved. Yes it was so badly damaged it will be like making a mountain move to heal it totally, but my gosh, the improvements with this butter!! I love it! I'm just very upset I hadn't discovered it years ago. My skin chronically needed the drink it's just had. I WILL be buying again, I shall make sure I have it stocked at all times.
