A: Unfortunately, like everything, China. They are beautifully made. 

**Q: How would you recommend washing the blocks?**
A: We recommend cleaning to be done with a soft damp cloth using a mild soap.  Use of bleach or harsh chemicals can damage the finish or paint.  Do not immerse wooden parts in water.

A great present for a toddler, good quality and nice colours. I picked these up as some of the alternative products were rated 3+ years rather than 12 months as this Hape Maple set is, glad I made the purchase as my nephew loves playing with them.
