Q: Do these really smell as bad as reviews say? Looking to buy a pair of 15kgs for home use but very concerned about the reports on the smell. Help?

I have some 5kg weights. They do smell if you put them up to your nose but don't really smell in my room. I don't find the smell distracting or offensive it's just a plastic smell. I'm sure people will smell worse than the weight after 10 mins.
