Can you use pudding spoon for soup

I returned the set as they weren’t great quality. Also, is that a real serious question…!? The only utensils you can’t eat soup with are a knife and fork!

Is the coloured bit of the handle plastic ?

The handle does appear to be plastic but that does not detract from the appearance, the cutlery is lovely.
