Icy Blond Conditioner | Mutes Yellow Tones in Blond Hair

Lots of people say this, but I don’t leave product reviews unless I feel quite strongly about something. After just one small bottle I was convinced to change the blonde toning conditioner I’ve used for several years. This is really worth trying if you want to avoid looking like you have a head of duckling fluff.I’ve had fully bleached hair for 10+ years and have yet to find a purple product that works to tone down brassiness as well as the black pigments in this conditioner. It leaves a more ashen look, leaning more silver than a neutral blonde, but that’s exactly what I want. I have short hair and the travel size bottle lasted me just shy of a month, washing every other day. I’d say it’s expensive, but well worth the cost. Since I don’t have long hair it’s hard for me to speak to how it actually conditions, but it rinses out with a bit of “slip” to it on my head, so I suspect it would comb through nicely.Negatives? Unlike other reviewers I find the scent horrific. It smells like sticky grape candy… was their product development team run by 3rd graders?! Seriously, it would be a dealbreaker if it didn’t fade after rinsing. Also, while I find this stains my shower less than my previous purple conditioner, it does get on my white towels if I’m not meticulous about rinsing in the shower. Be careful.

Love how this makes my boxed blonde hair look icy blonde! The smell is so delicious! Seems to condition very well also!

I absolutely love this hair product.It leaves your hair soft and maintains tone.I have super platinum hair, and it keeps it fresh.I'll be going VERY platinum soon (almost white), and from the current results, I think this will be best to keep the tone fresh.It works surprisingly better than purple conditioners.Downside, is it's a bit expensive for me. There is quite a bit in the little bottle if you're smart about it, but definitely expensive for me.What works best to make it last: use a small blob (quarter size), mix it in your hands with a white conditioner, apply.

Usually use a purple shampoo, tried this and loved it! Really brings out the icy blonde in my hair. A bit pricy, but it was worth it.

While it did take some yellow out, it made my hair so knotted that I couldn’t get my fingers through it, and that was before I washed it out. Not sure if I will chance trying it again. Having my hair break off is not what I expected.

Did counteract the gray but darkened my hair a bit

I wanted to take a chance on this icy blonde conditioner. I’m glad I did. The strength of my hair seems too be better. Some shine. Your color comes out alot lighter and I love that. It is a bit expensive. I do plan on purchasing more.

I was using lavender tinted conditioner on my grey hair to eliminate brassiness . I liked it but it gave my hair that bluish color tint. The icy Blond conditioner is great. I was skeptical bc it comes out of tube black but it calms the brassiness and looks very natural.

Migliore condizionatore per le bionde, pigmento nero, poca quantità basta perché molto pigmentato. Subito dopo la posa i capelli vengono grigi, ma dopo il prossimo lavaggio il colore esce platino. Ci metto anche una maschera quando lo uso, perché tende a seccare leggermente i capelli. Ormai ordine fisso, mai più shampoo/balsami viola che sono tanto diluiti che non servono a nulla. Buono profumo anche, tipo uva.

If anyone has blonde hair and lives in the country that has hard water it’s a great way to keep your hair from turning orange and to keep your natural blonde colour or if you have to die it it does a wonderful job at it
