I used this for a costume, keeping it on for a good 9+ hours. The colour was easy to apply (with a sponge and a brush). You will need a few layers for a complete cover, and dry it in between though. It dried quickly. I used spray on top of the paint, just to keep in on for longer, and to prevent accidental hand/clothes swiping it off easily. The colour gets to you clothes/hands somewhat easy, so you need to be careful for it to last a full day. Also I had the colour stick to my face well, but for example my throat and neck got hotter - so any sweat will get the paint smudging. Obviously you can get a better paint, but that's expensive, and this did serve the purpose well enough for me.

This face paint is very easy to use, exactly as it appears and doesn’t smell at all. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin but I didn’t have any issues with it on my face; it was a little difficult to apply (in some areas I had to reapply another layer) but in part that could have been the brush I used.

it takes a good long while to get an even coat base and when you do eventually get that even white coat, it cracks within like 10 minutes of wearing. I finished putting on my make-up and wore it for about 10 minutes and it was already crumbling and falling off my face and into my eyes. 💔 maybe it’s just me but the product is decent at best

Very pigmented and thick, lovely coverage and layering. I was able to create these beautiful designs with it.

Really great coverage. Have tried other brands but came back to this. You just need to wet a little piece of cotton wool, or make up brush and it softens the paints for easy application. Drys quickly then you can layer as desired, though the first layer may be sufficient because it's decent. Days well with limited cracking and other make up can be applied over it.

I ordered this to go with my Avatar costume for a fancy dress party. It was not immediately clear that you need to moisten the paint with water to get it to apply properly. Once I had eventually twigged this, it went on brilliantly. I also ordered white and a darker blue, and weirdly the different colours had completely different textures- the dark blue was rock hard yet the light blue would be possible to apply without water. Odd! It stayed in place well over the course of a long evening but was showing signs of cracking by the end of the night, sadly highlighting the areas where the face wrinkles, so I'd advise to take photos within 2 hours of application or it will not look very fresh. I also ordered brushes but I found my fingers much easier as a method of application. I haven't used any other brands to compare but felt this did as good a job as could be reasonably expected. Would order Snazaroo again.

This is going to be our go-to brand of face paint forever! Highlights: Safe for Celiacs, applies really easily once activated with water and our 5 year-old was able to clean herself with a wet wash cloth. Stayed for 4+ hours even without setting products. Details: Needed a gluten-free product for our child with Celiac disease as we didn't want to risk cross-contamination. Did the research and this product came highly recommended even by those with sensitive skin issues. It came plastic sealed so we knew it was clean. No applicator or instructions (though those might be on the package) so we used a makeup sponge and paintbrush and followed the reviews and some YouTube videos to make sure we applied it right. It activates with water so we got it wet and then also wet the sponge or brush. Really easy to apply with the brush but the sponge could get streaky so we did two coats and gave it just a few minutes to dry in between. The color is so vibrant! We purchased Pale Blue to get the Vampirina character look and it was perfect. Used for a full face for multiple events and still have plenty left so even though it seemed pricier to get a single color, it was well worth it. The main reason I'll go back to this forever is how easy it was to remove. Gave my 5.5 year old a wet wash cloth and she got it done in two minutes. I only had to go around the hairline to get hidden parts but I was really impressed as we were dreading having to get baby oil or other products out to remove it. It stayed really well for the 4 or so hours we needed it each time. Chose not to use a setting spray or baby powder but would recommend it for people going to conventions who need it to stay longer. There was one incident where after washing her hands they didn't get completely dry and she touched her face so there were some fingerprints of missing paint but not a big deal. As someone who doesn't apply makeup and hasn't done full face paint before, I couldn't recommend this more highly.
