How many lined pages for journaling? And where located?

There are 9 pages for journaling and they are located at the very back. They are the last 9 pages of the planner. 4 pages front and back.

Will colored pens or gel pens bleed through the pages?

Will not be a problem with ballpoint pen of any color...I don't use gel pens...The paper thickness is at least equal to or better than the Calendars for 3 times the price that I have used in the past..If gel is not watery and nearly dry as you use it...I think it should be fine...Sandy
