As a Graphic Designer, I am always on the lookout for quality, and affordable art supplies. One of the most common tools at my disposal is the ink pen which I use for writing, sketching, drawing and outlining. If you're anything like me, you have probably tried just about every brand of pen searching for the 'one'.The Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens is the 'chosen one' (sorry for my Matrix references:-). The series of pens come in a range of colours with a variety of tips and they are sold both individually and in packs. Each pack includes at least one of the following type of pens.SuperfineFineMediumBrushWhilst branded as an 'artist's pen', they are ideal for the variety of professions and tasks - drafting, drawing, lettering, writing, outlining and so on.I highly recommend the Faber Castell Pitt Artists Pens series; there really isn’t anything on the market that is comparable considering how much these pens offer. The ink is of high quality, the nibs are sturdy and precise, the ink is waterproof and the variety of tips and colours cater for a range of tasks.

These are obviously made by people who know their pens. They're wide enough to be easy to hold, even with RSI pain, but not so big as to be cumbersome. I'm no expert, but the lines drawn with them seem smooth, black and even. There's a nice range of line widths included, and the ink seems to dry very quickly, meaning no smudging against rulers, hands or blotting on paper.

I paint with watercolours but I also like to add pen outline & sketch accents; the best bit about these pens for me was the lovely surprises I was getting when adding water to my pen lines on my primed canvas boards, it just bleeds in beautifully and adds extra dimensions. You definately get what you pay for and these are well worth it. Love them absolutely :).

You can’t go wrong with these. So versatile. Great quality ink and nibs. Quick dry. Super easy to use but I wouldn’t give them to young kids because the walls are just too tempting.

I ordered these pens because i had become interested in drawing and illustration and these pens fit the bill perfectly for me to have ago myself just for the enjoyment of it. There is a variety of sizes in the pack, including one brush type pen. They draw well on most types of paper and dry quickly to a lovely dark black without much streakyness, and once dry will not smudge or bleed when drawn next to by another coloured pen. These pens can also be found in shades other than black, which i will purchase next. I'm very impressed and use these pens all the time.

These arrived today. I have run out of so many it's ridonkulous! These looked good so bought some to try!Immediately I fell in love with these pens. 4 different tip sizes for different needs.I use mainly as outliners. I think they work fantastically.Now if I could get these in colours with a rich tone I'd be ecstatic.My black n whites need colour.I definitely recommend these from beginner to professional, they would easily suit both!Very reasonable price point.Providing it stays reasonable I'll be back often for more!A++++++++

Bonne tenue en main, glisse facilement sur le papier qui n'est pas percé par l'encre. J'en suis très content.

Perfect tip sizes, do not bleed through as much as, say, stabilo fineliners do. Waterproof!
