Great lights

I bought this before going to a summer festival this year. It was our first time camping so and I wanted to buy a light that I could hang in the inside of an eight man tent in the large space in the middle, in-between the bedroom compartments at each end. All you want from a simple product like this is for it to work and do the job you bought for, which it did brilliantly. The batteries slotted in easily (4 x AAA) and even with there's still no weight to it. Once the tent was set up it hung without hassle in the middle of the tent and was inconspicuous during the day. When the light started to fade and the moment of truth came, it's performance didn't let me down. There are three light settings depending on the mood you want which you can flick between easily by just pressing the on / off button. The brightest illuminated the tent perfectly and the lowest was great for when chilling out at the end of the evening. We used this constantly over a period of 4 days and the batteries showed no sign of running out. I can happily and strongly recommend this to anyone who needs a light for a tent, cupboard or whatever dark space in your life that needs brightening up. An easy five stars.

Small and perfectly formed. Read all the other reviews saying small, cheap looking, but great. So took the dive and bought two for inside a tent for Christmas late night events. All I can say is yes, all the reviews are right, they are small, like a saucer, but have three light settings and a clip to hang them. They are much more practical for any user camping, market, fishing etc than any other tower style lamp for one simple reason. The light shines down or you hold it in your hand like a torch. Simple to use, cheap to buy, perfect. Takes three batteries and I have run one now for three evening events and still no dimming. Even better they are LED so no bulbs to break or gas mantles to damage. Will be buying more for the camping box and based on the £24 i paid for a tower lamp which shines sideways and needs charging for 10 hours to get 5 hours (maybe) out of it, they are a simple alternative. Keep the boxes they come in for packing and travelling, very handy.

This light has saved several of my camping trips - a week in Wales and a week in Montana. The clip is very useful, as it just hangs off the centre of my 4 man tent. The light on it's lowest setting is plenty for almost anything, but then the medium and high settings are great for if you're reading. The light is quite nice and soft, really filling up the entire tent with light. The batteries have seemed to last ages as I haven't changed them over two weeks where the light would get used for a few hours each night.

This was a very good hanging lamp for the tent. Not too big, not too small. I like the three (or is it four) levels of brightness. We would un-hook this at night to put next to the sleeping bags so that if we had to get up we could find it much faster than the torch as it was a good comfortable size. Its light in weight and adequate. The price was just right. I was delighted and satisfied and would recommend.

The general design is good and the lantern is easily used either hanging from a loop or line using the spring clip, or standing upside down on a flat surface. The small red switch is easy to use. Pressing it cycles through three levels of brightness as successive banks of LEDs are lit. Light output is pretty good, and the translucent 'lampshade' works well at diffusing and softening the light. Faults are that one of the 60 LEDs is dead from brand new out of the box (doesn't massively affect light output to be fair, but it's an irritation for a new product); and the general construction is thin, flimsy plastic that doesn't feel at all robust and lets the product down, especially for the price - half the money can buy a really solid, well-made Cree aluminium lantern.

Surprisingly effective little light. I use it to hang from the ceiling of a shed which I use as a weight-training gym. With winter approaching fast, this is just the thing to enable me to train well into the dark, dark evenings. The three light settings might be useful for some but I have the unit on full all the time and it sheds a bright (cold) light over a decent area. Of course, the higher you have it the wider (and slightly paler) the light it gives. Bargain!

Opened up the box and removed from packaging, clear cover and led light section fell out of the holder. Utter garbage. All wires still attached / intact, placed it all back together and added the batteries.. doesn’t even work. Made in China sticker on side of the box. Two out of 3 items delivered this morning have gone straight back in the delivery box. Needs to be a better way of vetting companies products Amazon. Cheaply built items with cheap materials and workmanship. I can only recommend paying a little more from a well known company to avoid disappointment. Age old saying “pay for what you get”

Ho comprato questa luce per stare sotto la veranda del mio camper anche quando è molto buio.questa luce è piccola, portatile e fa molta luce. Al minimo della potenza fa abbastanza luce ma al massimo cioè a tre fa tantissima luce grazie a 60 led. Aquisto consigliatissimo.

Luce led di discreta fattura. È dotata di un comodo gancio che permette di fissarla a diversi supporti. In campeggio o in barca a pesca fa il suo dovere. Le batterie durano moltissimo. Consigliata

Buona lampada molto pratica per il campeggio. A mo avviso l'unico difetto è che lse utilizzato con batterie AAA si scaricano piuttosto rapidamente e di conseguenza si riduce rapidamente la luminosità della lampada. Magari con delle batterie AA durava di più

Ich habe mir diese Lampe für einen zweiwöchigen Campingtrip gekauft und es nicht bereut. Die Lampe ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und lässt sich durch ihr leichtes Gewicht und den angebrachten Haken perfekt im Zelt aufhängen. Die LEDs geben ein sehr angenehmes und nicht zu helles/ dunkles Licht ab. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die stufenweise mögliche Einstellung der Helligkeit. Zudem sind die LEDs sehr stromsparend, wodurch die Lampe auch einen längeren Trip problemlos durchhält. Zudem ist die Lampe sehr stabil, was einen Transport in einer Tasche oder in einem Rucksack nicht zu einem Problem macht. + Gewicht + Leistung + Preis + Qualität + Verarbeitung + Helligkeit + Bedienfreundlichkeit ich könnte noch ewig so weiter machen... Von mir eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung; die Lampe ist jeden Euro wert und eine sehr gute Investition.
