Comparison of almonds suppliers
I really like almonds and have been buying almonds from several amazon suppliers for a while. I like to try new suppliers. But sometimes get bad surprises. Zeinas raw almonds are so far the best. I've tried - Zeina - Pink Sun - Chandras - Whole foods They are in order of best to worst. Whole Foods one was the worst ever, they tasted old and mouldy. Had to give them to the animals. Chandras are good and tasty but once in a while you get a bitter rotten almonds which stays in your mouth for a while... like 1 in every 50 almonds Pink Sun are good as tasty, but like Chandras have occasionally a bitter rotten one, like 1 or 2 per kg. Zeinas taste is the best so far. Plus I haven't caught a single bad tasting almonds in all the 5 kgs I've bought. For me it's a winner.

Was so impressed by the quality of the almonds. Far better than those at general health shops. Also price excellent. Will definitely buy again.

Unpleasant taste – not fresh
Unfortunately these almonds did not taste fresh. They have an odd, stale flavour that makes them unpleasant to eat on their own, and they also affected the taste when used in smoothies. I’ve bought almonds regularly and this batch definitely tastes off compared to what I’m used to. I would not buy these again and would recommend others be cautious if freshness and flavour are important to you.
