GOLF IN THE GARDEN
I purchased this Driving Net for use in the garden as my local golf course had closed it's driving range and I was unable to travel to my own Golf Club to play or practice.Assembly took around 5 minutes using the instruction leaflet supplied. However, I was very confused by the final instruction which described how I should attach the two lower corners of the net to a hook. It took some time to establish from photos and online videos that this instruction was not possible and no longer necessary since the lower part of the net had been greatly improved by a redesign which added a continuous fabric sheath across the bottom of the net. A steel tube assembly, which runs the full width and joins the side structures, goes within this fabric sheath securing the net leaving no gap across the bottom. The instructions were for an older version which is still available online from other providers, so be aware of this as the older design is inferior.I tested the net by driving proper golf balls (not soft rubber or plastic types) and the net worked perfectly. Being 2 meters square it makes a secure target making it virtually impossible to miss. The net is not taught but baggy so it decelerates the ball instantly and causes it to drop safely to rest in the bottom of the net.The net seems well constructed from durable materials and overall I am very pleased with the purchase.

Good, but has a little flaw.
This worked as expected and was easy enough to setup, just a steel tube and two fibreglass posts. The only issue is the steel tube that runs along the bottom of the net, a low shot can hit this and the ball can deflect anywhere. The solution is to buy a triangular piece of wood (say 45mm x 45 mm x 2m ) and put that in front of the bottom tube, any low balls will then deflect up into the net.A second alternative is to only use it with foam training balls.

Love it
Love it. Now my favourite toy.I saw a review indicating the buyer had blasted a hole in the net. I doubt any net like this is intended for anything other than practice foam soft plastic balls. Even with game golf balls i doubt i am of a standard that could cause damage. The net is strong.I saw another criticism that the bottom bar is slightly raised from the ground and when hit the balls can bounce back. I thought my skills would avoid that but having lost about 10 balls so far hidden in my shrubs and under my garden shen i agree there is an issue. The reviewer who mentioned this suggested a triangular piece of wood at bottom but i have yet to try that solution.I found difficulty putting on net at top - easy to get loop on one side but unless you have a willing partner the second loop is difficult. My solution was to lift the pole out from the bottom and then put on the second loop at the top before replacing the pole at the bottom (which was easy).

Very practical net, great for driving and for catching balls after the putting hreen
Used for driving and putting , in my garden ( 35 feet long).Amazing product-very pleasedKeep it near you and you can whack the life out of the ball. Keep it after the putting green and it stops the balls going into the bushes, or into the neighbours. Very flexible, easy to assemble and dissemble , and can be collapsed in very high winds. I have put bricks , wrapped in plasticbags( to avoid scratching) , on each leg.A golf ball shahger- Calway Pro ( from Amazon) is also handy for feeding a ball at a time, and picking up the balls afterwards ( for the lazy golfer!)

Great quality and easy to set up
This net is brilliant. Really good quality (especially when compared with another net I'd bought first, which I had to return) and super easy to set up. I have been able to hit balls into it at full pelt with no problem. I am probably going to get a second one to protect the rest of the garden from shanks and so me and the family can have a proper game of football.

Great product easy to assemble and dissemble and robust
From ordering to delivery was quite a long time but having said that it arrived 6 days earlier than projected. Very easy to assemble 10 minutes. Purchased for use in my rear garden which is enclosed but overlooked on all sides. First shot I hit a wedge flat out and first time in months I shanked it, missed the net, cleared the neighbours fence and I heard the ball thud into some structure fortunately not a window! Have since hit numerous balls with mid irons and up to driver. Great product net takes all the energy out of the ball which just drops to the floor. With all the driving ranges currently closed (Covid 19) this will be a godsend. Highly recommend.

Best Net on amazon
Not only is the net one of the best Garden nets i have used (and I have used a fair few) the customer service was great when I had a slight default in mine. Within a few days I had a new one shipped to my door. Would highly recommend this item for anyone looking for a net to practice in as it's the only one that seems to be able to keep up with my fairly high ball speeds.

Good sturdy net, does a good job. Bottom bar is an issue!
The net is very easy to assemble and does the job its designed to do, namely stop a golf ball. It's not particularly wide, which shouldn't be a problem for a competent golfer, but if you're like me and prone to the odd shank, beware! The bottom bar which holds it together also causes an issue in this respect. If you happen to hit one low and it hits this bar, then put your hands over your ears, grit your teeth and hope for the best because that ball will have gone into orbit and could land anywhere! Could do with some sort of padding to deaden the impact of a ball, but I guess the manufacturer hasn't legislated for hackers like me!
